Daniel Benjamin writes an interesting piece in the Washington Post today which debunks some of the left-wing propaganda about the U.S. Government’s Rendition Program.
George H.W. Bush first authorized the kidnapping of a Mexican physician who was responsible for the death of a DEA agent.
It was Bill Clinton who turned rendition into a full fledged program and in fact authorized over 70 renditions prior to Sept. 11, 2001.
It only became a problem when George W. Bush began using rendition on Al Qaeda suspects, because it’s important that we not be mean to terrorists.
