Since 9/11 the vast majority of Republicans have had a major change in priorities. Trying to keep gays from getting married is a silly issue and an enormous waste of time.Republicans need to get over the whole gay issue and focus on terrorism. Gay people are not going anywhere so it's time to get over it. I don't believe Gay Marriage will be an issue at all this time around. All the polling suggests that it doesn't even appear on the top 20 most important issues. The 2 issues that will be front and center are illegal immigration, and the war on terror.
