Inside The Mind Of A Ron Paul Supporter

January 14, 2008 · Filed Under Funny, Politics

Via LGF:

Ever wonder what goes on inside the head of a Ron Paul supporter who isn’t a giant racist and actually has to rationalize supporting a blatantly lying candidate? Here you can have a look at how a Ron Paul supporters off the Ron Paul forums reacts to the revelations about the newsletters, tries to cope with it and adopts a “party line” which he doesn’t really believe himself.

It’s an instructive look not only inside the Ron Paul campaign but inside a mind warped by propaganda and finding no choice but to “learn to love big brother” in the form of Ron Paul.

It’s a story told in screenshots of how the human mind adapts to believing in lies.

It’s really almost sad.

NAACP President: “Ron Paul Is Not A Racist.”

QUOTE: Austin – NAACP President Nelson Linder, who has known Ron Paul for 20 years, unequivocally dismissed charges that the Congressman was a racist in light of recent smear attempts, and said the reason for him being attacked was that he was a threat to the establishment. UNQUOTE

Ron Paul Would End the Government’s Most Racist Policy
Posted by Thomas DiLorenzo at January 13, 2008 07:30 PM

That’s the war on drugs, of course. Milton Friedman once said that the war on drugs had a “racial” but not “racist” effect in that it disproportionately imprisoned black Americans. He was certainly right about the effect. According to the U.S. Justice Department’s incarceration statistics, “Of the 249,000 state prison inmates serving time for drug offenses . . . [in] 2004, 112,500 (45.1%) were black . . .” I believe blacks are about 13% of the population.

While all those egomaniacal, “cosmopolitan,” libertine libertarians are belly aching away about old newsletters, competing for the title of “The Prettiest and Smartest Libertarian in the World,” and opposing Ron Paul, he’s the only presidential candidate who has said he would immediately pardon all non-violent drug “offenders.” This would probably include tens of thousands of young black men, and many thousands more in the future who would be saved from governmental harassment and imprisonment. Not to mention putting an end to the drug gang carnage that has been created by drug prohibition. All the other candidates are in favor of EXPANDING the war on drugs — especially Giuliani, the favorite of a certain young smear artist punk who writes for The New Republic.

One thing that is very clear by now, is that anyone who calls himself a “cosmopolitan” libertarian is not really interested in achieving a freer society in reality; it’s all about his or her own self image.

Inside my own mind I want to vote without blood on my hands. I would vote for a racist if it would save a mother’s son from dying and or getting mutilated in Iraq. So many men returning without arms, legs, eyes and faces. Priorities, its about priorities, and this political correctness will have to take a second seat.

Ever wonder what goes on inside the head of a Ron Paul hater who might be a giant warmonger and actually has to rationalize writing blatant lies about a candidate they know nothing about? I really don’t. Those people are useless to me. Integrity matters to me. Ron Paul has it, you don’t.

I have known about Ron Paul since 1984. I am clear he is no racist. I am also clear that Ron Paul is the most honest candidate running for President. I don’t have anything to rationalize.

One of his supporters wrote some garbage. Ron Paul did not write that garbage. Ron Paul does not know who wrote the garbage. Even if he suspects who wrote the garbage, he probably doesn’t have evidence that would hold up in court.

And all of this is irrelevant, anyway. Ron Paul has more integrity and better solutions than any other candidate. Ron Paul has a better record of upholding and defending the Constitution than anyone else in Congress and the Senate, combined. But your candidate can’t claim that, so you try to smear Ron Paul with this pathetic garbage instead.

Ron Paul is full of it and so are his supporters. You guys are wasting your time supporting a guy that has zero chance of ever being President.

You guys are living a permanent delusion. Ron Paul is an old school racist and you simply can’t accept the truth.

If he ever were an actual contender in this election, those newsletters would be front page news in the New York Times. He would be dead in the water.

    Give it up!

If you do decide to stay in that cult and remain a “Paulnut” be sure to refuse any kool-aid Dr. Paul may pass out after the election.
