Berkeley Anti-War Thugs Block Entrance To Marine Recruitment Center
The disgraceful anti-war pigs at Berkely are not only protesting in front of the recruitment center, but refusing to allow people to enter the facility. U.S. citizens have a constitutional right to enter a Marine Corps. recruitment center if they so choose.
The incredibly incompetent Police just stand there and allow these idiots to break the law. The one cop says, “we’re trying to remain as neutral as possible.”
Last I checked the Police were supposed to enforce the law, not remain neutral. Does that mean I can rob a bank in Berkeley and the Police will remain neutral?
It’s amazing people trying to get into the recruitment center actually put up with that crap. It be great to see some marines come pouring out of that building cracking some skulls, but unfortunately that’s not likely to happen.

I was there when we (Move America Forward) had hundreds of people turning out to support the Marines in October, and at that time, the police understood that neutrality meant moving the CodePink crowd accross the street (we had a permit) and enforcing a divide while insisting that no one block street or sidewalk traffic. Everything was strictly by the book.
Since the city took the side of CodePink, though, it seems like the police are under a new directive. Frankly it seems like their hands are tied. I wonder if this will keep up.
We’ll deliver thousands of petitions that people are signing on our website to the next city council meeting on 2/12, so maybe I’ll have a chance to see for myself.
