Last night continued the unseemly spectacle that is MSNBC political coverage. Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann continued to be cheerleaders for Democrats, especially Barack Obama.
Chris Matthews made his usual over-the-top statements followed by his donkey laugh. Matthews actually went to far as to say that Obama’s speech created a “thrill” in his leg, then called his getting that “thrill” an “objective assessment.”
Keith Olbermann meanwhile has all but given up even trying to mask his obvious disdain and contempt for all things Republican.
Without a doubt the coverage on MSNBC is coverage you just can’t get anywhere else. The network has made it obvious that even if there coverage is blatantly dishonest and at the very least unethical, they don’t really give a rip.
I watch actual balanced coverage on Fox News, but occasionally flip over to MSNBC just to get a good chuckle. It’s always been popular for people to claim a network is left-wing, but it’s absolutely stunning to watch MSNBC.
They routinely report so called “news” literally straight from left-wing blogs almost verbatim which is nothing more than propaganda.
Of course, when you look at the ratings it’s not hard to see why MSNBC continues to be dead last at every time slot.
