Hear Tim Robbins’ Profanity Laced Tirade At NAB Annual Show

I think it pretty much goes without saying that Tim Robbins is a left-wing kook. For whatever reason Robbins was the keynote speaker at National Association of Broadcasters’ annual show. Not surprisingly when he found himself with a soap box to scream from he took full advantage.

Actor Tim Robbins, noting that he has been labeled a traitor for previous comments he made about this nation and its pre-emptive war in Iraq, pre-empted a planned dialogue on new media at the National Association of Broadcasters’ annual show and launched a humorous, profanity-laced attack on both the state of the country and the consolidation of viewpoints being carried by national media.

Robbins went on to tell broadcasters they can either use their power to “lift us up” into a “more enlightened age” or “hide behind that old adage: I’m just a businessman. I provide what the audience wants.”

Which roughly translated means, you can either use your power to promote a radical left-wing agenda or you can stick with the crazy tradition of giving listeners what they want.
