Post Debate Analysis: Obama Fell Apart

clinton obama tradeing jabs Post Debate Analysis: Obama Fell Apart

Tonight was absolutely the best debate so far this election season. The far-left blogs are predictably outraged, because the ABC moderators had the nerve to break from the Obama worship and actually ask some questions.

This was the first time Obama wasn’t allowed to skate through the debate with eloquently worded, but extremely vague answers. To say he didn’t hold up well is putting it mildly. He looked genuinely surprised when his vague generalizations and half-ass explanations weren’t just accepted as the holy gospel.

When finally faced with a venue that wasn’t literally in love with him he totally fell apart. What’s worse, is that the questions weren’t even tough questions. I think he just assumed he wouldn’t have to answer any actual questions until the general election.

Hillary Clinton on the other hand came ready for armed combat tonight. She typically does well in debates, but tonight she kept Obama rocked back on his heels throughout the night. I’m no fan of the Hillary or Bill, but you have to give credit to Hillary for coming through in the clutch. She never gives up and when the pressure is most intense she seems to perform her best.

Final Conclusion: Barack Obama folded like a cheap suit

I completely disagree with this assertion. Typical of Senator Clinton she had her prepared answers and smug ,elitest arrogance in tow. She so assumes she is the candidate. Senator Obama more than held his own, in my humble opinion. He will win the nomination, he will knock the socks off Senator McCain and he will become the President of the United States of America because he is the best person for the job.

I don’t disagree that he will probably still get the nomination. I think that’s almost a foregone conclusion at this point. However, I think Obama was rattled tonight and he’s gonna have quite a fight on his hands in the general election.
