Conservative columnist Robert Novak has a good column on Real Clear Politics analyzing both Obama’s and McCain’s strategy for the general election.
One point very good point he hits on is the strategy by Obama’s campaign to call any attack by McCain or Republicans “swift boating” rather than just a criticism. Obama continues to level charges against McCain and call him a “3rd Bush term” and when McCain responds it’s labeled as “Swift boating”.
The truth is that so-called “swift boating” only means telling the truth about Barack Obama and Democrats which is why they hate it so much.
