U.S. News & World Report has republished the 1973 article by John McCain giving a first-person account of his time as a POW. It’s really an incredible story that everyone should read. What’s important to remember is that this was not written after he decided to run for President. He wrote this piece right after returning to the U.S. after 5 1/2 years in that Hanoi pit of hell.
