I am all for the debate it is good for all of us, but I do believe that there has been many different kinds of tragedy in this country since its inception. I am well aware of all the horrible things that were done and said to the African American population in this country. There has been a lot of growth and there is room for more. I DO NOT HOWEVER agree with whoopie that we do not live in the same world, just as her grandfather could not vote neither could my female ancestors, who may not have been mistreated quite as out in the open as African Americans, but woman have struggled, been abused, been discriminated against, and continue to face many of the same issues as black Americans. I know this because I am a women working in a male industry and I am faced with it on a daily basis. Women are brutalized everyday in this country and very rarely do we get to dictate whether we are referred to as bitches or women. Therefore I think the issue’s are not so much black and white (pun intended) as much as they are issues of morality, class, discrimination and a total lack of love and understanding. We as Americans have faced so many issues, when this country was attacked we came together as one….proving that it is possible for us to let the problems of the past go and join together as one, we all have a role in it , black, white, male, female. The “n” word is just as bad as the “B” word (bitch.)

You are an idiotic, and uninformed woman for trying to equate the two. Please read up on the original ideals in the Feminist ideology, since you obviously our citing Feminist causes as your argument and seem to be claiming you are one.
