It looks like MSNBC is not the only place where you can see an upside down American flag. You can also enjoy the anti-American propaganda right on your tickets to the Democratic National Convention.

Like their partners at NBC, the Democrats are symbolically telling the world that America is in great distress and his holiness Barack Obama is the diety needed to fix it.

As we’ve noted before, flying the American flag upside-down has a specific and long-held meaning: it is an internationally recognized sign of “dire distress” signifying “extreme danger to life or property” (US Code Chapter 10, 176).

    It’s anti-American, yet its in chapter 10 section 176? That doesn’t make any sense…

It *might* have become unpatriotic to display a flag upside down when life and property is NOT specifically in extreme danger. The US Code (use the link shown on this web page above – http://hospitality-1st.com/PressNews/FlagCode.html) explains one thing, and some people might be using it symbolize something else. Interesting enough, the Democratic Convention’s tickets (as I see in this web page’s picture above) have the flag upside down. The US Code states in Section 176 (i) “The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkin or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard.” Oops. I guess they really don’t care about respect for our flag (and so our country) as long as they are in control.
