Video: Obama’s Teleprompter Breaks Down

Barry seems to be at a loss for words without his teleprompter. Now contrast that with Sarah Palin’s teleprompter breaking down during her convention speech. You probably didn’t know it broke down because she didn’t miss a beat.

Creepy Video: Obama Kids Sing For Their Dear Leader

September 30, 2008 · Filed Under Barack Obama, Video · Comment

So let’s stand back and look at what we’ve seen from Obama thus far.

1. Creepy faux presidential seal

2. Creepy faux communist art

3. Creepy North Korea style worship using kids (see above video)

4. Fascist style intimidation using law enforcement in Missouri

I’m beginning to see a pattern here that’s quite troubling to say the least.

$700 Billion Dollar Bailout Rejected, Market Drops 700+ Points

September 29, 2008 · Filed Under Business News · Comment

stock_market_crash $700 Billion Dollar Bailout Rejected, Market Drops 700+ Points

The U.S. House of Representatives defeated a proposed bailout package of more than $700 billion dollars in a vote of 228-205. The stock market immediately took a nose dive with the Dow Jones dropping more than 700 points,  which is more than on 9/11.

In a stunning vote that shocked the capital and worldwide markets, the House on Monday defeated a $700 billion emergency rescue for the nation’s financial system, ignoring urgent warnings from President BushDow Jones industrials plunged nearly 800 points, the most ever for a single day. and congressional leaders of both parties that the economy could nosedive without it. The

Democratic and Republican leaders alike pledged to try again, though the Democrats said GOP lawmakers needed to provide more votes. Bush huddled with his economic advisers about a next step. The House was to reconvene on Thursday instead of adjourning for the year as planned.

The stock plunge began even before the 228-205 vote to reject the bill was officially announced on the House floor. The decline for the day surpassed the 721-point previous record, on the day after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, though in percentage terms it was well short of the drops on Black Monday of October 1987 and at the start of the Depression.

This is almost a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point. Now that the markets are spooked about a looming disaster, any failure to pass this massive bailout will cause the looming disaster to happen for sure. It’s too bad the Democrats were not interested in regulating Fannie and Freddie back in 2004 when the Republicans wanted too. Now they have the chutzpah to blame this mess on so-called “Bush economic policies.”

Gov. Of Missouri Responds To Obama’s Abuse Of Justice System

September 29, 2008 · Filed Under Barack Obama · Comment

Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt said this about the Obama campaign’s use of Missouri law enforcement to suppress free speech:

“St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.

“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.

“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. McCulloch, Obama and the others is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election.

“Barack Obama needs to grow up. Leftist blogs and others in the press constantly say false things about me and my family. Usually, we ignore false and scurrilous accusations because the purveyors have no credibility. When necessary, we refute them. Enlisting Missouri law enforcement to intimidate people and kill free debate is reminiscent of the Sedition Acts - not a free society.”

Obama’s repeated attempts to get law enforcement involved in this election to silence critics is about as despicable as it gets.

Video: Democrats Say “Nothing Wrong” At Fannie And Freddie In 2004

September 29, 2008 · Filed Under Business News, Democrats, Video · Comment

Since Democrats have attempted to rewrite history in the last couple of weeks blaming the financial crisis on George Bush, it has become necessary to review the tapes. Thanks to the YouTube world we live in the rewriting of history is a much harder thing to do.

As this video clearly shows, it has been Republicans from day one that have called for new regulations on Fannie and Freddie. Democrats however, wouldn’t hear of it. Democrats successfully blocked all meaningful legislation that would have brought Fannie and Freddie under control and prevented this mess.

Mark Levin was quick to fire back at O’Reilly with some pretty harsh personal attacks.

Iranians Mock Holocaust On Annual Jerusalem Day

September 26, 2008 · Filed Under Iran, Israel · Comment

iran5-300x225 Iranians Mock Holocaust On Annual Jerusalem Day

Iranians chanted “Death To Israel” today and Islamist students unveiled a Jew hating book that pokes fun at and mocks the holocaust. The anti-Semitic celebrations were to show solidarity with the Palestinians while Jerusalem Day celebrations take place in Israel.

In Gaza, Hamas kicked off the day by calling for more suicide bombings against innocent civilians in Israel.

Iranians chanted “Death to Israel” on Friday as Islamist students unveiled a book mocking the Holocaust in an Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Day annual parade to show solidarity with the Palestinians.

And in Gaza City, the Islamist Hamas movement that has ruled the impoverished Palestinian territory since June 2007 marked the day by calling for more suicide attacks on Israel.

The book “Holocaust,” published by members of Iran’s Islamist Basij militia, features dozens of cartoons and sarcastic commentary.

Education Minister Alireza Ali-Ahmadi attended the official launch of the book in Tehran’s Palestine Square.

The cover shows a Jew with a crooked nose and dressed in traditional garb drawing outlines of dead bodies on the ground.

Inside, bearded Jews are shown leaving and re-entering a gas chamber with a counter that reads the number 5,999,999.

Another illustration depicts Jewish prisoners entering a furnace in a Nazi extermination camp and leaving from the other side as gun-wielding “terrorists.”

Yet another shows a patient draped in an Israeli flag and on life support breathing Zyklon-B, the poisonous gas used in the extermination chambers.

Keep in mind that these are the same despicable savages that Barack Obama wants to meet with without pre-conditions.

Anyone who thinks that Iran is ever going to change its stripes and become a civilized and respectable member of the world community is an idiot.

Sooner or later we’re going to have to kill these people — so why not make it sooner?

Jossip has the footage of Palin during the swimsuit portion of the contest.

Missouri Law Enforcement Targeting Anyone Who Unfairly Attacks Obama

September 26, 2008 · Filed Under Barack Obama · 2 Comments

che_obama_1 Missouri Law Enforcement Targeting Anyone Who Unfairly Attacks Obama

The Obama campaign has asked Missouri law enforcement to target anyone who runs a ‘misleading’ ad or makes ‘misleading statements’ about Obama’s record.

Sheriffs from across the state and at least two high profile prosecutors are joining the “Obama Truth Squads” and will be reminding voters that Barack Obama will cut taxes for 95% of the people, and that he’s a Christian.

Law enforcement and prosecutors are promising to respond immediately to any ‘misleading’ ads or statements that might violate Missouri ethics laws.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of law enforcement ‘reminding’ people about the positions of a particular candidate. When you watch the news report about this it’s pretty creepy.

It looks like Obama is once again using fascist tactics to suppress free speech. If you speak out against Obama in Missouri you’ll find yourself in hot water with prosecutors and law enforcement.

I guess that’s the ‘Change We Can Believe In.’

UPDATE:

Michelle has more on this.
