Palin Smears Reach Fever Pitch

September 2, 2008 · Filed Under sarah palin

It is absolutely breathtaking the speed at which the entire far left machine geared up to try and destroy Gov. Sarah Palin. All the feminist arguments so often heard on the left have apparently been temporarily suspended until the total destruction of Sarah Palin and her entire family is complete.

All the most hateful left-wing blogs have focused like a laser beam on Palin and her family. At least 95% of the posts on far left hate sites like Daily Kos and The Huffington Post are focused almost exclusively on Gov. Palin and her family. You can follow the smears almost minute by minute as bloggers post new ‘dirt’ that they hope will do some damage.

The Huffington Post has taken to posting pictures and excerpts from the Myspace page of Bristol Palin’s boyfriend. Bristol is the pregnant 17-year old daughter of Gov. Palin and the latest member of the Palin family marked for destruction.

The newest attack formed within the hour appears to focus on Gov. Palin’s church. Hungry for revenge after Rev. Wright, liberal bloggers are trying to create the narrative that Palin has a ‘controversial worldview’ because she told her church congregation that completing the mission in Iraq was God’s work. I don’t think that’s gonna have same sizzle as “God Damn America!” but I could be wrong.

There’s also an effort to tie Palin to disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff, and an effort to tie her husband to the Alaskan Independence Party (AIP) which supposedly wants Alaska to secede. They’re also trying to tie the Gov. to indicted Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens.

All the attacks just mentioned also come with a heaping portion of hatred for Gov. Palin just on general principal because she’s a conservative woman, a pro-lifer, NRA member, hunter, Christian, and a mother of five. They also hate her husband because he’s married to her, they hate her kids because they’re her offspring. They hate her town because people talk funny and kill their own food. They hate the state of Alaska because she’s the Governor and it’s a state whose citizens are demanding that we “drill here drill now.”

It’s to be expected that opponents would throw everything at Gov. Palin to discredit her, but I can’t recall another time when an effort to destroy a candidate extended to kids and family.

Is this really what it’s coming down to in America? That political opponents will try and publicly humiliate and smear a candidate’s children in the hopes of damaging the candidate? It seems like a given that you leave people’s children out of it. I have no doubt that Gov. Palin can take the heat and give a little back herself, but her children should not have to deal with it.

The one bright side to all this vitriol is that hopefully it will finally expose the far left as the vicious and hateful fascists that they are. Since this is the crew that currently controls the Democratic party, voting for a Democrat is directly supporting sites like Huffington Post, Daily Kos, Firedoglake, TPM, Crooks and Liars, and of course MoveOn.org.

Most patriotic Democrats who live in the heartland of America have no idea just how radical their party has become. If they knew the kind of despicable people they were supporting when they vote for Democrats they may rethink their vote.

Looks like the Democrappers finally adopted the art of smearing from the Repubs.

Wow, are you stupid or something? There’s so much wrong with this article that I don’t even know where to start. I have a job, so I don’t have time to point out how much is wrong, but it’s pretty much everything!

You’re wrong, going after a candidate’s kids is a new low and is unprecedented in American politics.

“If they knew the kind of despicable people they were supporting when they vote for Democrats they may rethink their vote.”

    Are you joking me? Despicable?

Don’t dare try to call us despicable after all the crude bullshit you guys have pulled on Obama. Just because she is a woman does not mean she gets treated in the same manner as any other politician.

Obama has been at his best about the matter. So do not try to lump him with the “radical” left. Where was McCain when Fox attacked Michelle Obama? What about the terrorist fist jab? What about Obama’s baby mama? What about their reign on her one statement if she is a proud American?

They went to town on her. What about the false rumors about Che Geurva and being Muslim for Obama?

Don’t call us despicable after all your bullshit.

You’re absolutely right about Obama. He’s been absolutely a class act when it comes to the attacks on Palin’s daughter.

But let’s not forget that Obama bows to the Daily Kos/MoveOn.org Gods whenever they get upset.

Attack Palin all you like, it’s attacking her kids that’s wrong.

From what I have observed, no one went all out and attacked her daughter for no reason. Palin threw her daughter to the wolves. What did she expect? You cant stick to your guns, and push anti-abortion and anti-contraceptives and then tell everyone your underage daughter is preggers. This makes it look like you have failed as a parent by your own standards and you are highlighting an embarrassing situation for your child on an (inter)national level. This is the argument I have seen in most articles.

By the way, the fashion in which you wrote this article makes you seem, well, like an ass. But its ok. I’m sure you got some of your fellow republicans all frothy at the face hole.

Actually, conservatives look at it from a completely different point of view. Gov. Palin didn’t ‘fail’ as a parent at all. She tried to bring up her children to respect life and though her daughter made a mistake she didn’t take the easy way out and have an abortion. Right wingers would say she’s living a moral life not just talking about living one.

Don’t forget how this entire thing started. Palin had to come forward about her daughter to stop the absurd rumors created by the Daily Kos. The rumor that her baby with Down’s Syndrome was in fact her daughter’s baby and she was just saying it was hers to cover for her daughter.

Makes me seem like an ass? Come on gboyes, you have to at least call me a racist — or possibly warmonger? Think it over and get back to me.

You mean the rumor that her daughter was pregnant. Yeah they really missed on that one. Where would they ever get such an idea?
