The so-called “Employee Free Choice Act” that union leaders and far left democrats are salivating at the prospect of passing under an Obama administration is a bad idea in so many ways. I don’t like it because I don’t like unions period. Unions were at one time useful, but now are purely political organizations that exist for one reason only — to get left democrats elected.
NRO however, has a much more reasoned view of why the EFCA is a bad idea. Not from some right-winger, but from a lifelong union member, organizer, and leader.
