L.A. Times Finally Notices Obama’s Thin Resume

Now that the election is over and “hope & change” is upon us, the L.A. Times decided to investigate and see just who this Barack Obama guy we elected really is — and what he’s done.
The conclusion — not a whole hell of a lot.
Prior to becoming the f*cking president, Barack Obama was a constitutional attorney as we’ve been told hundreds of times. However, he only actually worked as an attorney for four years. During that four year stint he only accrued 3,723 billable hours of legal work as an attorney for Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Gallard.
According to his former colleagues, Obama was a great writer and researcher but worked on relatively few cases and never rose above the level of junior associate.
Here’s the breakdown of Obama’s vast legal career before entering politics:
Total # of legal cases Obama was involved with — 30
Total # of years as a full-time attorney — 4
70% of cases dealt with voting rights, civil rights, and employment.
30% of cases dealt with real-estate transactions, filing incorporation papers, and defending clients against lawsuits.
Total # of billable hours accrued — 3,723 ( most young lawyers accrue approx. 2,000 hours per year )
Kudos to Warner Todd Huston at NewsBusters for pointing this story out and breaking it all down so that even the biggest “Hope & Change” sycophants can understand it.
I expect this L.A. Times article will be the first of many around the country expressing sudden shock that “The One” is a half-ass lawyer from Chicago that gives a good speech — and that’s pretty much it.
Way to go media!
