scott2 Scott Peterson's Family Still Living In Denial

The family of convicted murderer Scott Peterson continue to live in denial about their son’s guilt. In addition to their website, ‘Scott Peterson Appeal‘ the family has launched a new blog called ‘Journey to Justice‘ that waxes nostalgic about the good times spent with Scott and his murdered wife Laci.

Obviously, what their family went through was horrendous and unthinkable. But what I find even more horrendous and unthinkable is the Peterson’s continued public denials about their son’s guilt. Scott Peterson is on death row at San Quentin State Prison after being found guilty of murdering his wife Laci and their unborn son Conner.

It was obvious to outside observers that he did it, and a jury said he did it. The only people who continue to live in denial about his guilt are his parents. Scott Peterson’s sister has even declared her belief in his guilt.

Here’s a little sample from the Peterson’s new blog:

Today is Scott’s Birthday, he is 36. Scott was only 30 when Laci and Conner were abducted. Today is a sad day for our family and Scott’s supporters. It is sad that we can’t celebrate Scott’s birthday and it’s sad that we can’t celebrate with Laci and Conner on their birthdays. That is Scott’s real loss. Conner would have been 5 this year. Conner was so real to us, we had seen his little face in the ultrasound pictures.
All I can think about today is the injustice that’s been done to my son. It is a real disservice to the memory of Laci and Conner. How could this happen? I look forward to when we can celebrate with Scott for all the birthdays he has missed.

The reason they can’t celebrate Scott’s birthday with Laci and Conner is because Scott decided to butcher Laci and Conner. The only injustice that was done is this case was to Laci and Conner. Scott is a monster and a coward. If he had any conscious at all (which he clearly does not) he would admit what he did. I look forward to the day in about 10 years or so when Scott finally gets the needle.

Dyan ranted: “I found this and read these entertaining blogs here…. UHM….? I think th earticle is more about Scott’s ridiculous parents and how they SPOILED that kid rotten.”

His parents are perfectly fine and they raised a fine son. They didn’t spoil him at all.

More rubbish: “I don’t think there really is much of a question – the man killed his wife and child. Its already been deemed proven in a Court of Law.”

Which ‘proves’ nothing since all the jury has proven is their appalling prejudice and stupidity. The actual evidence proves him innocent, something you are clearly too dim to grasp.

Scott Peterson is scum of the earth! You sit here defending him when he killed his wife and unborn child! He deservers way worse than the death penalty! Scott Peterson is guilty as he was proven now get that through your brains!

I know. The Peterson family paid big shot attorney Mark Geragos more than $1 million to defend Scott and he ended up on death row. It was a circumstantial case and no cause of death was ever determined. But the jury used common sense. Too bad the Anthony jury didn’t have a little of that.

The fact that Scott took Laci and Conners life is unbelivable but his family and friends that are in denial that he did this have no life either. look at all the people who’s been affected by him murdering his wife and child.

I can’t fault Scott’s family for supporting him.  I mean, if you can’t rely on your own family, whom can you rely on?  So we should not be condemning them for standing by him and saying he’s innocent.

I will say, however, that “voice of sanity” is not a good spokesperson for Scott’s innocence, as he/she comes off as profoundly arrogant and condescending; “everyone is stupid but me” is the motto apparently.  I agree that the case was circumstantial, for sure.  What I can’t get over, however, is the fact that Scott tells Amber that this will be his first Christmas spent as a widower, and then, lo and behold, Laci disappears on Christmas Eve.  That would have to be one hell of a coincidence.  Am I stupid to feel that way “voice of sanity?”

I do fault them. It’s not ok to stand by your son when he butchers his wife and unborn child. To continue proclaiming his innocence and continue operating a website to look for “real killers” is sick. His parents need to get a grip on reality and accept their son is a monster.
