Former Black Panther Urges Public Not To “Hang” Or “Lynch” Blago Appointee
Besides being the most corrupt state in America, Illinois also knows how to play the race card better than anyone. Corrupt Gov. Blago appoints Roland Burris who gave a ton of money to his campaign in the past, but since he’s black he should get to keep the appointment? Racist black leaders in Chicago have been grumbling for weeks about how Obama’s senate seat is “black” and it must remain “black” because somehow that is what is best for the country. As I said last week, I didn’t know Barack Obama’s senate seat was black. In fact, I’m quite sure it’s exactly the same color as every other seat in the senate.
Seeing as how Obama supposedly transcends race, I find it interesting that Congressman Bobby Rush decided to get up during Blago’s press conference and say this:
He urged people “not to hang or lynch the appointee as you try to castigate the appointer” and, after saying repeatedly that Burris would be the only African-American in the Senate, said that he believed no senator would want “to go on record to deny one African-American from being seated in the US Senate”.
Wow, talk about taking two steps forward and one step back. What difference does it make if he’s the only black member of the senate? The senate has to have a black person in it? Does it also have to have a Hispanic, an Asian, and an Arab as well? Also, what’s with all the talk about lynching? Sounds like he’s been hanging out with Rev. Wright too much.
How about electing someone based on the content of their character and their record of achievement instead of the color of their skin.

Blago Appoints Former AG Roland Burris To Obama’s Senate Seat
Corrupt Gov. Rod Blagojevich is expected to defy pretty much the entire political establishment and make an appointment to Barack Obama’s senate seat. His choice according to the the Chicago Sun-Times is former Attorney General Roland Burris.
Former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris, 71, had lobbied the governor for the position in recent weeks.
Burris made a previous attempt at the Senate seat in the past — unsuccessfully. In 1984, he was beat out for the Democratic nomination by Paul Simon.
Illinois Sec. of State Jesse White says he will block Burris’s appointment. White must certify any appointment made by Blago and has indicted he will not sign-off on any appointment made by the governor no matter who it is.
Incidentally, senate majority leader Harry Reid has already said he would refuse to seat anyone Blago appointed if it were to get that far. Reid has final say over who is seated in the United States Senate.
Blago’s lawyers say they knew nothing about a senate appointment and were never consulted on the matter.

Vanity Fair Manages One More Bush Hit Piece
Vanity Fair has just released its latest and hopefully final Bush administration hit piece. It claims to be an “oral history” of the Bush White House. Sadly, it’s pretty much the same regurgitated talking points the far left has been puking up for the last eight years.
Some of the highlights include such classics as “Bush ignored 9/11 warnings,” “Bush lied about Iraq,” and of course “Bush shredded civil liberties.” I still can’t figure out what civil liberties I’ve lost over the last eight years, but if Vanity Fair says it then it must be true.

Israeli Defense Force Launches YouTube Gaza Channel
The Israeli Defense Force has launched its own YouTube channel to cover the current conflict in Gaza. IDF spokesman say it will be continuously updated with videos showing successful strikes on terrorists in Gaza. Not surprisingly, YouTube has already removed some of the videos citing a violation of its terms of use. However, it’s worth noting that terrorists are pretty well free to upload whatever the hell they want to YouTube and only very rarely are their videos removed.
Public relations has long been a failure of the Israeli government when it comes to military conflict. It’s nice to see them finally countering the propaganda put out by the UN and other left-wing organizations who continuously side with the Palestinians and lie about civilian casualties. I don’t believe there’s a more hated group of people on the planet than the Jews. Anytime Israel exercises its right to self-defense they’re called war criminals, but when the terrorist killers in Hamas fire missiles into Israel hoping to murder civilians the majority of the world stays silent.

If you thought Hamas didn’t quite have enough ways of causing death and human suffering you’re in luck! Over the Christmas holidays Hamas passed a Sharia criminal code that legalizes crucifixion — you know, Jesus on the cross crucifixion. So I guess instead of just blowing up the Jews or kidnapping them, they can also nail them to a cross.

Obama’s Workouts Good, Bush’s Workouts Bad
As Michelle Malkin points out in her latest column, we’ve had a president who ran, lifted weights, and mountain biked fanatically for the last eight years. George W. Bush is the healthiest president in American history. While most would see this as a good example to set for the country and an overall net positive, the media of course saw it differently.
Like everything else president Bush did, his exercise routine was described in such glowing terms as “creepy” and “disturbing.” He was routinely derided for wasting time exercising instead of doing real work. When he wrecked on his mountain bike a couple of years ago and had a busted lip and a scraped chin, the media made jokes and liberal bloggers lamented the fact that his injuries weren’t more severe.
Compare that with newly elected Barack Obama. His dedication to physical fitness seems be on par with that of president Bush, but the media’s reaction to it seems to be quite a bit different.
Obama has gone to the gym, for about 90 minutes a day, for at least 48 days in a row. He always has treated exercise less as recreation than requirement, but his devotion has intensified during the past few months. Between workouts during his Hawaii vacation this week, he was photographed looking like the paradigm of a new kind of presidential fitness, one geared less toward preventing heart attacks than winning swimsuit competitions. The sun glinted off chiseled pectorals sculpted during four weightlifting sessions each week, and a body toned by regular treadmill runs and basketball games.
Are you kidding me? I had to laugh out loud when I read that. Any “reporter” who writes something like that is officially a douchebag. So it was lame for president Bush to exercise to maintain a healthy heart, but it’s cool for Obama to exercise so he looks good in a swimsuit? Wow, that’s really something. What the liberal media fails to realize is that even with chiseled pectorals, Obama will likely still have a heart attack before Bush because he’s a smoker.
So for all the intelligence and God like ability that Barack Obama has it’s a shame he’s too stupid and weak willed to stop smoking cigarettes. The media’s reporting on Barack Obama has gone from blatantly in the tank to just plain funny. You can’t take it seriously or pay any attention to it. It’s like one big Saturday Night Live skit that just never ends.

Media Shocked That Teenage Girl Could Be Vicious Murderer
This from the NY Daily News:
Fifteen-year-old Sharell Butler has been charged with two savage murders, but the baby-faced Bloods gang member is still her daddy’s little girl.
The teen’s father, James Butler, defended her a day after she was arraigned for dismembering one man and helping kill another in a pair of drug-related slayings.
Asked whether his daughter was innocent of the brutal slayings, the dad replied, “Yes, I would believe so.”
Sharell Butler, a lanky teen known on the street as Lady Red, was charged with murder, manslaughter and assault in the death of John Hopkins Drago, adopted son of a Bronx family.
Investigators believe Butler and Robert Pastore, 19, stabbed Drago 40 to 50 times as revenge for talking to cops about a robbery that Pastore committed last year, police sources said.
It’s nice to see the media taking notice of gang violence. This country is full of “Lady Red’s” who will shoot you in the face and be home in time for dinner. You don’t become a Bloods gang member unless you’re capable of extreme violence. There are thousands of teenage gang members all over America that routinely kill without conscience and it’s only getting worse.
Rachel Maddow Is Terrible — So Stop Saying She’s Good
Ever since Rachel Maddow’s awful show debuted on MSNBC (The Obama Network) liberal journalists can’t stop writing puff pieces and making reference to it. Rachel Maddow is nothing more than a slightly less abrasive version of Keith Olbermann.
Just because she doesn’t say things with the same faux outrage as Olbermann doesn’t make her some kind of ground breaking pioneer. Having someone at NBC who actually cared about facts and honest reporting would be ground breaking — but I’m not gonna hold my breath.
Rachel Maddow is a radical left-winger who is only adored by liberals because she’s a butch lesbian who hates Bush (what an accomplishment).
