Barack would have won if he were white, orange, yellow, green, or black. The media was in his pocket and the country is angry at republicans.

Yes, black racists do get a pass in this country. White people are told to be color blind (which they should be) but blacks can advocate for other blacks solely on the basis of race and nobody bats an eye (see bobby rush talking up Blago’s senate appointee).

I believe he used the terms “hanging” and “lynching” to describe what the white senators were doing to potentially the only black senator.

Blacks do not get a free pass on anything in this country because of our skin color. If Obama was not half white, he would not have been elected. Until you have walked in the shoes of a black person, please keep your generalizations about blacks to your self.

I get what you’re saying Concern and I may have been too general. I don’t think racism is dead by a long shot, but when black leaders in Chicago act like it’s unthinkable not to seat Burris because there are no blacks in the senate is absurd and wrong. If the most qualified candidate is black then by all means he should get the job.

Racism is wrong no matter who does it. Blacks seem to always get a free pass when then openly call for racial discrimination.

I understand what you are trying to saying, but I do not agree with your viewpoint. Blacks might not face segregation; however, not everything is equal between whites and minorities (jobs opportunities and standards of beauty).

To be fair, I know a lot of black folks who don’t make an issue of race. Chicago seems to be ground zero for black militancy in this country. Which is not surprising considering it’s home to rev. wright, Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, and a whole host of other race hustlers.
