The disgraceful shoe throwing journalist who assaulted our president is being heralded as a hero by ignorant Arabs and dimwitted Americans. What he did was neither courageous nor was is it heroic. Any American who thinks the shoe thrower is a hero is a despicable person who really shouldn’t be living here.
If you want to see what real courage is then take a look at this video of a student ripping into Ali Larijani and denouncing Ahmadinejad at Shiraz University two weeks ago. Larijani is speaker of the Iranian parliament, and one of Ahmadinejad’s closest henchman. The student in this video is a real hero who’s literally risking his life to “speak truth to power” ( a favorite phrase of the left).
