Chris Matthews Says MSNBC The Network That “Opened Its Heart To Change”

During yesterday’s inaugural festivities the Obama Network (MSNBC) took a little time out to congratulate itself on helping get Barack Obama elected president.

Chris Matthews, one half of the most partisan duo on cable news (the other half is Olbermann) said this about his liberal news network:

“Well, it sure as hell helps to be on MSNBC today. Let’s talk straight here: This is the network that has opened its heart to change. To change and its possibilities. Let’s be honest. These people watch this network out here.”

I don’t think anybody can disagree with Chris’s statement. MSNBC most definitely opened its heart to change. They changed from a semi-legitimate news organization into the propaganda arm of the Barack Obama campaign and a tool of the lefty blogosphere.

I will have to disagree with Chris that “these people watch this network out here” because it’s a little misleading. Two million people came out to watch Obama’s inauguration, and even on its best day MSNBC doesn’t get two million people watching Matthews or Olbermann.
