Black Race Hustlers Find Their Voice In The Age Of Obama Over “Racist” Cartoon
I often wondered how Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Rev Wright, and every other black race hustler in America was going make a living now that we have a black president. The fact that a black man reached the highest office on planet earth pretty much takes the wind out of their sales — or at least it did for a minute.
Fortunately for the race hustlers, the liberal media threw them a life line in the form of phony racism claims directed at a cartoon. I bet Al Sharpton was relieved to have an opportunity to break out the bullhorns and picket signs. It’s ironic that just yesterday, our new Attorney General was calling America a “nation of cowards” when it comes to discussing race. As I wrote yesterday, it is this kind of nonsense over the cartoon that makes people afraid to talk about race.
That cartoon clearly coincided with the huge national story about the Chimp that went wild and had to be shot. Only a paranoid kook or a person who makes a living labeling people and things as ‘racist’ (the race hustlers) could think that cartoon was racist.
Anyone can look at the cartoon above and get the idea. The stimulus bill couldn’t have been any worse if we had just let a crazed monkey write it. It was full of pork, nobody read it, and it cost a trillion dollars. The race hustlers want you to believe the real message was nothing more than a stealth attempt to call president Obama a monkey. First of all, Obama isn’t the one who wrote the damn stimulus bill. It was Nancy Pelosi, David Obey, and Barney Frank with a little help from Harry Reid. Secondly, the cartoon follows exactly what happened with the real monkey case. The police did in fact the shoot the crazed chimp.
I was blown away when I first heard the racism claims. It would have never occurred to me to see a racist meaning in it. I didn’t think the cartoon was very good or very funny, but racism never entered my mind. The cartoon came out within a day of the chimp story so it was quite timely. This is nothing more than a desperate attempt by liberals and race hustlers to keep their societal role as perpetual victims of “white devils.”
Real racism does still exist in this country, but when you label things racist that clearly are not it makes people cynical. Then when a real act of racism occurs nobody pays attention, because they figure they’ve heard it all before.

You can defend the post all you want. It isn’t going to help its reputation. This was a low class cartoon. All you’re saying is that we’re a low class nation. Some of us would like to be better than that. Others is doesn’t bother
I didn’t say it was a great cartoon, I said it wasn’t racist.
Well, the story won’t go away. It seems Sharpton won’t let it. So here I am tossing out an opinion…
I think you are pretty much right on the money. I don’t know that I’d say; “This is nothing more than a desperate attempt by liberals and race hustlers to keep their societal role as perpetual victims of ‘white devils’.” Okay, maybe it’s a desperate attempt by race hustlers.
What I take from the whole fiasco is that there is a significant percentage of people who will dismiss what was almost assuredly intended, and instead proclaim racism. It’s why I hope I’m never in front of a jury, accused of a crime of which I am guilty… OR innocent.
I’m sick of people trying to downplay the meaning of this cartoon. It IS offensive whether or not it was meant to be. Think about the history between whites and blacks (and I’m not talking about going back to racism). Think about US experiments and “scientific findings” on blacks. Now think about how white supremists label us, the so-called reasons for their hatred. My mother in law’s boyfriend (both white) once used the word nigger claiming he meant “ignorant” and tried to defend that claim. But guess what? it doesn’t fly. So whether or not you will accept these claims is up to you. But it IS racist and it IS hurtful and it would have been even if it were directed at at any other black person. Race does matter, and racism does exist, so wake up. I’m all for free speech, but you write about how the russians are accepting of the propaganda they’re being fed while doing the same.
Jobi,
I understand that some people found it offensive or even racist. I also get the connections you’re making. I personally didn’t think the cartoon was funny, but I still contend it was not meant to be racist. Had John McCain won the election, the same cartoon would have run at the same time. Claiming the cartoon was meant to call Obama a monkey is absurd. Will there ever be a time when something can just be taken at face value and not analyzed for hidden racism and bigotry? I know full well that racism still exists, but I also think the racism label is thrown around too loosely these days.
It’s also a fact that liberals use race and charges of racism as a weapon. When they can’t win an argument they call you a racist and that immediately shuts down debate on the matter. Racist, homophobe, and hate monger are the three favorite buzz words on the left.
