Tucker Carlson: How Jon Stewart Became An Insufferable Prig

March 18, 2009 · Filed Under Politics

Tucker Carlson has a great piece on The Daily Beast about Jon Stewart everybody should read.

Here’s a highlight:

The relationship between Stewart and the media is a marriage of the self-loathing and the self-loving: He insists their real news is fake, they insist his fake news is real. He doesn’t take them seriously at all. They take him way too seriously. But nobody takes anybody as seriously as Jon Stewart takes himself.

So true, so so true.

What’s really pathetic is that douche bags such as Tucker Carlson feel so threatened by a satirist.

What’s even more pathetic is that so many douchebags take a “satirist” so seriously.

What’s most pathetic is that the satirist provides America with the closest thing on television that actually resembles real news. Tucker, Hannity, and co truly need to choke on a pretzel like their God did, only they need to croak on it. This modern controlled media is utter pig slop and the journalists who report it are pigs. That’s the simple truth, my simple fanatical neo-con friends.
