Obama Moves To Block Release Of Detainee Abuse Photos

This from Reuters:

In a reversal, President Barack Obama said on Wednesday he would fight the release of dozens of photographs showing the abuse of terrorism suspects, over concern the images could ignite a backlash against U.S. troops.

This represents a rare moment of clarity for a president who up until this point has been hell bent on putting our national security at risk to appease his radical left-wing base.

This will certainly be a blow to the ACLU and other left-wing groups who were salivating at the chance to damage America a little bit more.

Thank God, rational thought prevailed in this situation. It would have been f*cking nuts to get the Arab world stirred up again when we’re already facing so many challenges overseas.

Those pictures do nothing to advance the story or widen the debate. The abuse in the photos has already been dealt with and those involved have already been punished.

This was nothing more than another attempt by the ACLU to damage America and hurt our ability to wage war on the enemy.
