michaeljackson thumb Michael Jackson’s Death Causes News Blackout

I realize we’re all supposed to be a nation in mourning over the death of Michael Jackson, but there’s some pretty important stuff going on right now in the world that we’re not hearing about.

Every single news channel is predictably wall to wall coverage of Michael Jackson’s death. Every second of the rest of the night and through tomorrow morning and beyond will be all Jackson.

There could not be a worse time for the country to go all celebutard crazy for several days.

Congress will be voting tomorrow on a disastrous and costly “climate change” bill to combat phony global warming.

The White House is probably ecstatic that Jackson picked tonight to keel over. As a result, most Americans will have no idea that the largest tax in history is being voted on tomorrow.

The so-called cap and trade system cooked up by Al Gore and his nutty band of environmental extremists will destroy our economy and lower the standard of living for everyone — while doing nothing to help the environment.

So while you’re waiting out this Jacko feeding frenzy, pick up the phone and help put the brakes on this global warming nonsense.

Call the members of Congress listed below and tell them to vote NO on “Cap and Trade.”

It doesn’t matter if they’re in your district or not, you can still call and tell them to vote NO.

how completely insensitive and crazy you sound. You are incredibly disrespectful of the memory of a genius. His fans and loved ones worldwide who loved him did not complain when for weeks now Iran a foreign country has dominated our American news. Give it a break!!!

I have nothing against covering his death, but to blackout all other news on every station for 24 hours is ridiculous.
