Palin said there should be more people like Trig. Is that something a thoughtful, deliberate and intelligent person would say. Or is it more a case of someone that speaks without thinking? And, coupled with scores of other irrational, delusional and dishonest comments, is there a possibility that this wanna-be President is just a bit off her rocker? She really sounds delusional… creating a reality in which she is incapable of error, dishonesty and hypocrisy.
So, pardon me if I don’t join in with the gang here and try to sound the most offended by above article. Because, if Palin had her way, there would be no choice about it… there would be more Trigs… some fathered through rape and incest.

While this guy was absolutely wrong in what he posted, and I’m glad he pulled it, and I’m glad he’s getting ripped, but posting his picture and phone number is a bit much, no?

I mean really? Why stop there? Could you not find his home address and where he goes to shop at or goes to church?

This seems a bit much. Your site though, so you’ll do what you feel is right. Just saying it’s a bit much. Not to say what HE said wasn’t a way too much, but this isn’t the right way to go about it.

That article was shameful and is rightfully condemned. However, it is the exception that proves the rule. Typically, this type of stuff comes from the GOP, not the Democrats.

Sadly, even though the days when children with Downs were locked away in institutions, because of the staggeringly high abortion rate of babies with Down syndrome (almost 90%), very few people have the opportunity to know someone with Down syndrome. They are truly an endangered species.

It is so important for those of us raising this next generation of Down syndrome Ambassadors to be out in our communities, battling these dangerous myths and stereotypes. I think most people–even the woefully uninformed–are well meaning, and deserve gentle correction.

However, I won’t comment on what I think Erik Sean Nelson deserves….
