When asked who the most trusted newscaster in America is now that Cronkite kicked the bucket, 44% of Americans said — Jon Stewart.
Think about that for a minute. Walter Cronkite was considered the greatest newsman ever. He was loved for his straight news reporting and ability to keep his own views private.
