The “compassionate” release of the Lockerbie bomber is becoming a bigger story by the hour. The entire case stinks of pay-offs, horse-trading, and outright lies.
Questions are now being raised about the doctor who made the prognosis about Megrahi’s prostate cancer. The terrorist was seen by several doctors and only one of them was willing to say he was dying. What’s more, that particular doctor may have been employed by the Libyan government.
Add that to Libyan President Moammar Gaddafi’s son’s flat-out admission that Megrahi’s release was tied to an oil deal with the British government — and we have the makings of a full-blown international scandal.
