The Marxist ‘Media Justice’ Mob
Michelle has a great post about the “media justice” mob that’s running wild right now in Washington. “Media justice” is a close relative of “social justice” and “eco-justice”. No matter what you call it, each of them is deeply rooted in Marxism. The goal is to redistribute wealth and fundamentally remake America into a Marxist/Socialist/Communist/Maoist country.
“Media justice” is a stealth way of destroying any type of conservative political speech under the guise of “diversity”. When liberals speak about “independence” and “diversity” in media they mean ending free speech and ushering in a new era of solid 100% left-wing speech.

The one and only debate between the candidates running for the New York’s 23rd Congressional district was held last night. Progressive Republican Dede Scozzafava, Democrat Bill Owens, and Conservative Doug Hoffman were all in attendance. You can watch the entire debate HERE. I thought Doug Hoffman did very well, and I encourage everyone to cast their vote for Hoffman.
In related news, former NY Gov. George Pataki has officially endorsed Hoffman over phony Republican Dede Scozzafava.
Taxpayers Paid $24,000 Per Car For ‘Clash For Clunkers’
From CNN:
A total of 690,000 new vehicles were sold under the Cash for Clunkers program last summer, but only 125,000 of those were vehicles that would not have been sold anyway, according to an analysis released Wednesday by the automotive Web site Edmunds.com.
…The average rebate was $4,000. But the overwhelming majority of sales would have taken place anyway at some time in the last half of 2009, according to Edmunds.com. That means the government ended up spending about $24,000 each for those 125,000 additional vehicle sales.
It doesn’t matter how these jerks in Congress (from both parties) try and spin it. Once again, the American tax payer took it up the ass for a program we all knew was BS from the beginning. Every single thing our government has done to allegedly alleviate the recession has been about paying off special interests. The phony stimulus was one of the greatest thefts in world history. It was $787 billion dollars of pork and special interest bribes.
“Cash For Clunkers” was total horseshit from the moment it was conceived. It turned out exactly like many of us knew it would — as grand theft auto. It was smoke and mirrors just like everything else coming from the federal government.
You think this is bad, just wait until ObamaCare kicks in.

Michelle Obama Has 26 Paid Assistants, More Than Any First Lady In History
According to Canada Free Press, Michelle Obama has more paid assistants than any First Lady in U.S. history. The total combined salaries of her 26 assistants is $1,750,000 per year paid for by tax payers. That does not include the cost of the lavish benefits package each one also receives.
When compared to past First Ladies, Michelle Obama is so far out of the norm it’s actually stunning.
Hillary Clinton = 3 assistants
Laura Bush = 1 assistant
Jackie Kennedy = 1 assistant
Michelle Obama = 26 assistants
It sounds like Michelle is doing a hell of a lot behind the scenes that we don’t know about to need that many assistants. Congress should look into this and find out what she’s up to.
I know, I know, I’m racist for bringing this up. So be it.
White House, Fox News Claim Truce
According to Fishbowl DC, Mediaite, and Hot Air, The White House and Fox News have agreed to end their public feud and call a “truce”.
I’m not sure how Fox News can agree to a truce when all they were guilty of doing was reporting on this White House.
Here’s the real kicker:
One drawback, which even Obama aides concede, is that Fox is using the quarrel with the White House as a public-relations tool to stir up its own support among conservatives and to boost ratings. “They’re still at it,” says a senior Obama aide, who adds that White House officials don’t expect to fire another shot in the battle unless Fox strikes first.
I take that to mean The WH won’t fire another shot unless Fox starts telling the public what’s really going on again. Somehow I don’t think Glenn Beck is in on this truce. I don’t think he’s going to shy away from informing the public when he uncovers yet another Mao-loving Marxist in this administration.
What The White House wants is for Fox News to get in line with the rest of the Obama media and keep quiet. I don’t see that happening and I don’t see this so-called “truce” lasting very long either. This administration can’t handle criticism of any kind. The only way they can pass their destructive legislation is in the dark of night without anyone knowing the details.

George Soros Puts $50 Million Towards Attacking The Free Market
Commie Pinko George Soros has a brand new idea for destroying America and he’s putting $50 million behind it.
According to Newsweek, Soros aims to “purge” economics of its “free-market zeal”. In other words, Soros wants to dismantle free market capitalism as we know it.
Now financier George Soros is announcing a $50 million effort to speed things along. This week Soros is gathering some of the leading practitioners of the market-skeptic school, who were marginalized during the era of "free-market fundamentalism," among them Nobelists Joseph Stiglitz, George Akerlof, Michael Spence, and Sir James Mirrlees. He’s also creating an "Institute for New Economic Thinking" to make research grants, convene symposiums, and establish a journal, all in an effort to take back the economics profession from the champions of free-market zealotry who have dominated it for decades, and to correct the failures of decades of market deregulation. Soros hopes matching funds will bring the total endowment up to $200 million. "Economics has failed not only to predict and explain what happened but has also failed to protect society," says Robert Johnson, a former managing director at Soros Fund Management, who will direct the new institute. "That’s what the crisis revealed. The paradigm has failed. There is no guidance."
George Soros has spent years and hundreds of millions of dollars trying to destroy America — so this is nothing new. What is new is that for the first time we have a president who actually agrees with him.
DC Sniper Gets The Needle Next Month
From The AP:
The mastermind of the 2002 Washington, DC-area sniper attacks will die by lethal injection next month, Virginia officials said Tuesday.
John Allen Muhammad declined to choose between lethal injection and electrocution, so under state law the method defaults to lethal injection, Virginia Department of Corrections spokesman Larry Traylor said.
Muhammad is scheduled to be executed Nov. 10 for the October 2002 slaying of Dean Harold Meyers at a Manassas gas station during a string of shootings.
Good news.
ACORN Funding Ban Expires This Saturday
When Congress recently banned all federal funding for ACORN, that ban only extended until the end of the temporary budget resolution. That resolution will end on Oct. 31. Most people believe the ACORN funding ban will be written into the new budget resolution, but we shall see.
