Joe Lieberman is refusing to go along with the Obama agenda of destroying the greatest health care system in the world. Lieberman has threatened to filibuster Harry Reid’s health care bill unless the expansion of Medicare is removed.
This has caused an uproar on Capital Hill among Democrats who thought they had Lieberman in the bag. President Obama even convened an emergency meeting at The White House today and told Harry Reid to make a deal with Lieberman.
Obama’s far left base has responded to Lieberman’s trouble making by attacking his wife.
Radical leftist blogger Jane Hamsher is trying to get Hadassah Lieberman fired from being a spokesman for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which fights against breast cancer.
Hamsher accuses Joe Lieberman and his wife of being paid shills for the insurance industry, which is the predictable attack on anyone opposed to ObamaCare.
UPDATE:
The nuts over at Daily Kos are also calling for Mrs. Lieberman’s firing.
