Video: Glenn Beck Interviews Mike Goldfarb About Extortion of Ben Nelson
Sen. Ben Nelson appears to be the lone Democrat refusing to go along with ObamaCare, unless language is added that would prevent the federal funding of abortion. Obama can’t afford to outrage his radical left base any further and therefore cannot insert such language.
With no other way out, the Obama administration has quietly informed Sen. Nelson that if he does not support the health care bill, they will close Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.
Offutt is vital to our national security and one of the most technologically advanced bases in the country. Moreover, it employees more than 10,000 people.
That means The White House is willing to add 10,000 people to the unemployment lines, destroy our national security, and wreck Nebraska’s economy to get Ben Nelson’s vote.
Sounds like some gangster shit to me. Nelson should call a press conference and tell the American people that President Obama and his cronies are engaged in high crimes. They are attempting to extort his vote for health care reform. It blows my mind that Nelson would take these threats lying down. Doesn’t the man have any principles?
So what if the left smears him, that’s what the left does. The American people have a right to know that a Chicago gangster lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
This health care bill is a disaster. It’s a horrific piece of legislation that is going to destroy our health care system and bankrupt the nation. The fact that the administration has to resort to threats and extortion to get it passed speaks volumes about the bill itself.

a president can’t just “close a base.” it goes though an incredibly lengthy process with a BRAC – base realignment and closure commission. they only do those every so many years, and closing a base could take as many as ten years after the commission starts. offutt has a lot of very unique weapons systems. highly UNLIKELY it would be closed. the president has little say in the status of individual bases.
Whether or not he “could” close the base is not the point. The fact that a threat like that could be made is what’s at issue here. The President is acting like a Chicago gangster.
