Over the holidays, Science Daily reported on a new study out of the University of Bristol that you almost certainly won’t be hearing about in the media. It pretty much cuts the heart out of the entire global warming debate and once again shows Al Gore to be the lying sack of sh*t.
I urge everyone to read the entire piece, but here’s the key paragraph:
Most of the carbon dioxide emitted by human activity does not remain in the atmosphere, but is instead absorbed by the oceans and terrestrial ecosystems. In fact, only about 45 percent of emitted carbon dioxide stays in the atmosphere. …
To assess whether the airborne fraction is indeed increasing, Wolfgang Knorr of the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Bristol reanalyzed available atmospheric carbon dioxide and emissions data since 1850 and considers the uncertainties in the data.
In contradiction to some recent studies, he finds that the airborne fraction of carbon dioxide has not increased either during the past 150 years or during the most recent five decades.
Like I said, don’t plan on hearing about this from Katie Couric — it’s not gonna happen. The mainstream media has decided that humans are causing the earth to warm and no scientific evidence to the contrary is going to change their minds.

You have to be one crazy motherf*cker to say with a straight face “the science is settled.” The important thing to remember about this entire debate is that it’s not about the climate and it never was.
This is about the “social justice” crowd stealing the wealth of prosperous nations and giving to poorer nations. This is an attempt by the radical left to gain power over every aspect of our lives in the name of saving the planet. It was bogus in the 70’s when they cried about the coming ice age and it’s bogus now when they talk of man-made climate change.
Al Gore is a fraud and a phony who’s personally profited from the hysteria he’s caused to the tune of 100+ million dollars. He stands to make billions if he can get Cap and Tax legislation through congress.
Oddly enough, there’s one radical leftist who’s been completely honest about the green agenda from the start — and his name is Van Jones.
