Ex-Israeli spy and son of the founder of Palestinian terror group Hamas was granted asylum in the United States today.

During his 15-minute immigration hearing the government said it was dropping its objections to Mosab Hassan Yousef, and offered no explanation for the change.

Mosab will be required to pass a routine background check and be fingerprinted by immigration officials. He says he’s looking forward to eventually becoming an American citizen.

The truth is that the government dropped its case against Yousef, because it had no case. It was foolish and showed DHS to be out of touch with reality.

America is lucky to have a man like Mosab Yousef. I would trade Sean Penn, Danny Glover, Rosie O’Donald, Janeane Garofalo, Oliver Stone, and a dozen or so other America bashing celebs for one Mosab Hassan Yousef.

He’s a hero who saved thousands of lives working as an undercover agent for the Shin Bet deep inside Hamas.

Yousef’s book Son of Hamas is one the most fascinating and inspiring books I’ve ever read. Yousef is now a practicing Christian living in California.
