i'm surprised he didn't charge $100 a head for the "honor" of attending the rally. I'm sure he made money off of this somehow.

You do realize that themoney he raises goes to a charity which helps the families of slain members of the armed forces.

The rally raised more than $5 million dollars for the Special Operations Warriors Fund. Beck donated along with everyone else. He didn't make a single dime off this rally.

i realize he didn't charge money for the rally. i was just pointing out that everything he does ends up benefiting him financially. i prefer mark levin's approach … get the message out to people even if it means getting it out at no cost to the people.

The rally didn't benefit him financially. He didn't make a dime off that rally. You could say he profited in terms of publicity, but he did not gain financially in any way from today's rally. The money he raised today will completely pay for the education of every single child with a special forces parent killed in action since 2001. There are more than 500 families in all. He was able to raise in a single day what would have taken the Special Operations Warrior Foundation literally years to raise.
