Video: Documentary ‘Inside Wikileaks’ Goes Behind The Leaks With Julian Assange

I actually posted this back in August when Wikileaks first announced they was releasing 90,000+ pages of classified reports from Afghanistan.

For some reason nobody much cared. I guess Assange wasn’t a big enough name yet. Clearly, that’s no longer a problem so I’m going to try this again…

If you recall, The NY Times and few European media outlets actually partnered with Wikileaks to sort through all the stolen documents. After the release, The Times tried to minimize their involvement.

However, in the run up to that first big Afghan leak, Julian Assange allowed an Australian filmmaker to travel with him and document everything. Among other things we learn that a NY Times reporter was actually sent to London to work alongside Assange and others in a “bunker” to prepare the leak.

One quirky thing about Assange is that he carries an iMac desktop computer around inside his luggage instead of a Macbook.

See all that and more in the fascinating documentary “Inside Wikileaks” — which you may conveniently view in full below.
