Henry “The Rat” Waxman bizarrely tried to insert the vilified Koch Brothers into the Keystone Pipeline debate in a hearing on Capital Hill yesterday — and got spanked.

Congressional throwdown! In a heated hearing Wednesday on Capitol Hill, Democratic Congressman Henry Waxman called upon the billionaire Koch brothers to be subpoenaed over their alleged monetary interests in the controversial Keystone XL pipeline. Republican CongressmanEd Whitfield angrily cut off Waxman. “We’re not going to be subpoenaing the Koch brothers … because the Koch brothers have nothing to do with this project,” Whitfield snapped…

I’ve made no secret out of the fact that I think Jon Stewart is a hack and not particularly funny. However, I must give credit where credit is due.

Stewart is thus far the only comedian with the balls to make jokes about Obama and lampoon the gruesomely fawning Obama coverage on NBC.

Only in America…

You really have to see this to believe it. An Ohio man was arrested for drunk driving on his homemade motorized bar stool. 28-year old Kile Wygle was spotted driving a “strange motorized machine” and police were contacted after he wrecked.

When Police arrived on the scene, Wygle told them “I wrecked my bar stool” and pointed out the machine is capable of hitting 40 mph, even though he wrecked at only 20 mph.

The only thing Kile Wygle is guilty of is being awesome.

Read this hilarious article about American’s for Tax Reform’s Derek Hunter and his quest to photograph prominent conservatives wearing a Snuggie (you know, the blanket with sleeves).

Hunter says he got drunk one night and ordered a Snuggie for the hell of it. Not long after it arrived, his colleagues began taking pictures of themselves in it. So rather than just give it away he thought he’d capitalize on the absurdity of the Snuggie and get some funny pictures out of it.

So far he’s gotten Joe The Plumber, Tucker Carlson, Grover Norquist, Mary-Katherine Ham, and Andrew Breitbart to don the blanket with sleeves. He’s hoping to get Karl Rove, Michael Steele, P.J. O’Rourke, and Mary Matalin next.

I had high hopes that president Obama would usher in a new ear of post racial harmony and then California had to go and mess it up with this:

In a move that will likely get California’s consumers in a huff, impending legislation may soon restrict the paint color options for Golden State residents looking for their next new vehicle. The specific colors that are currently on the chopping block are all dark hues, with the worst offender seemingly the most innocuous color you could think of: Black. What could California possibly have against these colors, you ask? Apparently, the California Air Resources Board figures that the climate control systems of dark colored cars need to work harder than their lighter siblings – especially after sitting in the sun for a few hours. Anyone living in a hot, sunny climate will tell you that this assumption is accurate, of course. In fact, legislation already exists for buildings that has proven successful at reducing the energy consumption of skyscrapers.

I think any fair minded person can see the obvious stealth racism here. All this talk of “cars” is really code word for people. California wants to ban black people. To suggest somehow that “lighter siblings” AKA light skinned people are somehow superior is an outrage! This is the worst case of racism I’ve seen since the monkey cartoon.

Where in the hell is Al Sharpton on this?
