Donate To Sarah Palin’s Legal Defense Fund
The left continues their unprecedented campaign to smear and destroy Gov. Sarah Palin.
In Alaska, any citizen has the right to file an ethics complaint against the governor for any reason. Prior to running for vice president she only had one complaint which was ultimately resolved in her favor.
Since running for vice president, new ethics violations are filed against her by a small group of left-wing activists nearly every week.
There’s been some 15 so far and no matter how ridiculous the charge, anyone can file one and Gov. Palin is forced to defend herself in court.
So far she’s beaten every single one of them, but accrued legal expenses of more than $500,000 and counting.
Unlike a lot of politicians, Sarah Palin is not a millionaire and cannot afford that kind of expense.
The far-left plays for keeps and would love to destroy Sarah Palin’s reputation and bankrupt her at the same time, but we’re not going to let that happen.
Sarah Palin’s legal defense fund has finally been set-up and is accepting donations.
It’s called the Alaska Fund Trust and every dollar donated goes to pay for the governor’s legal expenses and nothing else.
Here’s a promotional video about The Alaska Fund Trust from the good folks at Conservatives 4 Palin:

NRA Honors Gov. Sarah Palin With Alaska-Themed AR-15
The National Rifle Association will present Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin with a commemorative Alaska-themed AR-15 “assault” rifle next week.
Called the Alaskan Hunter, the Arctic-White AR type rifle is chambered in .50 Beowulf and comes with 50 rounds of custom .50 ammunition, custom sling, and custom case.
Custom engraving on the rifle includes the Big Dipper constellation, an outline of Alaska on the 6-way adjustable stock, a moose, and the NRA logo with the inscription, “In Honor of Governor Sarah Palin,” on the upper receiver.

Leftist Enemies Trying To Bankrupt Sarah Palin
The left has many slimy tactics when it comes to smearing republicans, but what they’re doing to Sarah Palin is unconscionable.
According to NRO, Palin’s enemies in Alaska have been trying to get revenge on her ever since she returned from the presidential campaign.
The left’s weapon of choice — bankruptcy. They’ve filed more than 10 ethics complaints against her and more than 150 Freedom of Information Act requests. The ethics complaints are frivolous and petty designed to do her financial damage more than anything else.
The newest ethics complaint stems from her husband’s participation in the Iron Dog snow machine race. Sarah Palin wore a jacket advertising her husband’s sponsor, Arctic Cat Inc, while “in her official duties” as governor” when she served as official “starter” for the race.
Another complaint was because she spoke to the media (Greta Van Susteren) about the presidential campaign while sitting in her office.
The result of these ridiculous complaints on Palin herself are legal fees totaling more than $500,000 which is more than four times her salary. She says she may be forced to create a legal defense fund if this keeps up.
So the intention here is clear. Not only is the left trying desperately to destroy her reputation nationwide, but also destroy her financially. This is how the left always plays the game. It’s never enough to defeat someone politically, they aim to destroy lives.

Palin To Reject Nearly $515 Million In Stimulus Money For Alaska
Gov. Sarah Palin says she intends to accept only about half of the more than $1 billion dollars in stimulus money earmarked for Alaska.
Protesting federal "strings," attached to stimulus funding, Gov. Sarah Palin said she doesn’t want nearly half the estimated $930 million Alaska is eligible for.
"Will we chart our own course, or will Washington (D.C.) engineer it for us?" Palin said.
She expected to file an appropriations bill this afternoon accepting about $251.5 million in stimulus funds, coupled with allocations of $262.6 million already requested for transportation and aviation projects for a total state take of about $514.1 million.
Palin said she’s fine with accepting money that will actually create jobs in Alaska. What she doesn’t want is the social engineering money that Obama is forcing on the states. Money that will permanently grow the welfare rolls and increase the size of government.
Good for her.

Here’s part 2 of Greta Van Susteren’s interview with Gov. Sarah Palin’s daughter…
Video: Bristol Palin Interview
Greta’s interviews are always good, and this one was no different. I thought it was especially courageous of Bristol to admit that while abstinence is certainly the best policy it’s just not realistic in today’s world. Kids need to be encouraged to abstain for sure, but they also need to be armed with the facts and taught the importance of contraception, etc. I also think the Palins are setting a great example of how to deal with a teenage pregnancy should it come up in your family. Don’t fly off the handle and throw your kid out, instead think logically and come up with a game plan.
