Obama To Cancel Moon Mission, Wants NASA To Focus On ‘Climate Change’
Our space program that is the envy of the world is about to keep its feet firmly planted here on earth thanks to President Obama.
In the upcoming budget Obama plans to scrap NASA’s plans to return to the moon and the new rockets that were supposed to get them their.
When the White House releases his budget proposal Monday, there will be no money for the Constellation program that was supposed to return humans to the moon by 2020. The troubled and expensive Ares I rocket that was to replace the space shuttle to ferry humans to space will be gone, along with money for its bigger brother, the Ares V cargo rocket that was to launch the fuel and supplies needed to take humans back to the moon.
There will be no lunar landers, no moon bases, no Constellation program at all.
I particularly have a problem with NASA losing funds for building a new space ship that is sure to be a boondoggle of that will cost taxpayers billions and billions in cost overruns. I’m betting the private sector will build something on its own that will be better in the end anyway.
That said, it’s what Obama wants NASA to focus on instead instead of space exploration that really sucks:
…the White House will direct NASA to concentrate on Earth-science projects — principally, researching and monitoring climate change — and on a new technology research and development program that will one day make human exploration of asteroids and the inner solar system possible.
I’ll save the taxpayers billions of dollars and let the president in on a little secret — the climate is and has always changed. But much to the chagrin of the president, Al Gore, and social justice dickheads everywhere — humans aren’t responsible for that.
Climatologists Trying To Understand Why Global Warming Has Stopped
It makes my heart a couple of degrees warmer when I read things like this. Al Gore is such a buffoon. His dumbass phony science is slowly being exposed for the garbage that it is.
As I’ve reported many times on this website, the earth is not f*cking warming. All the climate change fear mongers and their ridiculous computer models were not just wrong — they were dead wrong.
Spiegel Online has a great piece about the climate change debate and how many in the scientific community are being forced to come to grips with the truth.
As you read the piece remember what dumbass Al Gore likes to say — “the science is settled.”
What people must realize is that the global warming debate has nothing to do with the weather or the climate. The same people who howl about global warming were howling about global cooling 25 years ago.
What “cap and trade” and the phony “green” movement is really about is redistribution of wealth. Global warming is simply a means to an end for the radical left to get the “redistributive change” they’ve been seeking all these years.
Lately, the term used most often by leftist eco-warrior’s is “environmental justice” which is a close cousin of “social justice” — both of which mean redistribution of wealth.
In fact, Obama’s former Marxist “green jobs” czar Van Jones explains it better than I ever could:
Don’t fall for the nonsense. These environmental whackos want money and power and they’ll destroy the entire world economy in the name of phony science to get it.

UN Climate Prediction: “We Have 4 Months To Secure Future Of Our Planet”
The idiots at the UN held their Global Environment Forum yesterday where leaders waxed poetic about the dire consequences of global warming — phony global warming.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon gave a speech about the perils of climate change and patted himself and the UN on the back for making a phony issue real.
The highlight of the speech was this:
We have just four months. Four months to secure the future of our planet.
I’m glad to hear it. I hope this means we can stop talking about phony climate change in four months.
World Finally Realizing That Global Warming Is A Scam
The U.S. may have a bunch of dumbasses running it for the moment, but fortunately the rest of the world does not.
The Wall Street Journal has an excellent piece today about the swell of global warming skepticism that is sweeping across the world. The article coincides with Congress’s vote today on “Cap and Trade” legislation to cut carbon emissions so that Al Gore can sleep better at night.
Hundreds of leading scientists around the world are finally speaking up and refusing to be intimidated by climate zealots.
The number of skeptics, far from shrinking, is swelling. Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe now counts more than 700 scientists who disagree with the U.N. — 13 times the number who authored the U.N.’s 2007 climate summary for policymakers. Joanne Simpson, the world’s first woman to receive a Ph.D. in meteorology, expressed relief upon her retirement last year that she was finally free to speak "frankly" of her nonbelief. Dr. Kiminori Itoh, a Japanese environmental physical chemist who contributed to a U.N. climate report, dubs man-made warming "the worst scientific scandal in history." Norway’s Ivar Giaever, Nobel Prize winner for physics, decries it as the "new religion." A group of 54 noted physicists, led by Princeton’s Will Happer, is demanding the American Physical Society revise its position that the science is settled. (Both Nature and Science magazines have refused to run the physicists’ open letter.)
The collapse of the "consensus" has been driven by reality. The inconvenient truth is that the earth’s temperatures have flat-lined since 2001, despite growing concentrations of C02. Peer-reviewed research has debunked doomsday scenarios about the polar ice caps, hurricanes, malaria, extinctions, rising oceans. A global financial crisis has politicians taking a harder look at the science that would require them to hamstring their economies to rein in carbon.
The entire global warming frenzy has nothing to do with real science and everything to do with flawed computer models. Al Gore has earned himself more than $100 million since his time as Vice President by peddling this phony science all around the world.
Every single member of Congress who votes in favor of Obama’s ridiculous climate bill should be thrown out of office in the next election.

Alaska Volcano Eruption “Imminent”
Residents in and around Anchorage, Alaska are stocking up on supplies and preparing for what scientists say is the imminent eruption of Mount Redoubt. The volcano last blew on Dec. 15, 1989 sending a cloud of ash more than 150 miles away. Unlike Hawaii’s volcanoes which typically create an orange river of lava that flows down the mountain, Alaska’s volcanoes tend to just explode and send an enormous ash cloud 30,000-50,000 ft. into the jet stream.
John Power who works at the Alaska Volcano Observatory says the ash is very dangerous to humans and can cause severe lung damage and blindness if precautions are not taken.
“It’s a very abrasive kind of rock fragment,” Power said. “It’s not the kind of ash that you find at the base of your wood stove.” The particulate has jagged edges and has been used as an industrial abrasive. “They use this to polish all kinds of metals,” he said. Particulate can injure skin, eyes and breathing passages. The young, the elderly and people with respiratory problems are especially susceptible. Put enough ash under a windshield wiper and it will scratch glass. It’s also potentially deadly for anyone flying in a jet. “Think of flying an airliner into a sandblaster,” Power said.
Power advises Alaskans to prepare as they would for a bad snowstorm: Keep flashlights, batteries and several days’ worth of food in the house, limit driving and prepare to hunker down if the worst of an ash cloud hits.
Global Warming Alarmist James Hansen’s Former NASA Supervisor Calls Him An “Embarrassment”
The guy who really kick started the fraudulent global warming panic around the world is Dr. James Hansen. He’s Dr. Al Gore’s closest ally and deputy fear monger. Hansen is the chief climate scientist at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS).
Hansen’s former boss at NASA is now speaking out and says Hansen’s global warming warming alarmism is an embarrassment to NASA based on fraudulent science.
Retired senior NASA atmospheric scientist, Dr. John S. Theon, the former supervisor of James Hansen, NASA’s vocal man-made global warming fear soothsayer, has now publicly declared himself a skeptic and declared that Hansen “embarrassed NASA” with his alarming climate claims and said Hansen was “was never muzzled.” Theon joins the rapidly growing ranks of international scientists abandoning the promotion of man-made global warming fears.
“I appreciate the opportunity to add my name to those who disagree that global warming is man made,” Theon wrote to the Minority Office at the Environment and Public Works Committee on January 15, 2009. “I was, in effect, Hansen’s supervisor because I had to justify his funding, allocate his resources, and evaluate his results,” Theon, the former Chief of the Climate Processes Research Program at NASA Headquarters and former Chief of the Atmospheric Dynamics & Radiation Branch explained.
“Hansen was never muzzled even though he violated NASA’s official agency position on climate forecasting (i.e., we did not know enough to forecast climate change or mankind’s effect on it). Hansen thus embarrassed NASA by coming out with his claims of global warming in 1988 in his testimony before Congress,” Theon wrote. Theon is in good company when it comes to his skepticism on global warming. Contrary to what Al Gore is telling the congress on Capital Hill this very day, the scientific community is in no way in agreement about global warming. In fact, every single day more scientists come forward and join the chorus of those who know Gore and Hansen are liars engaged in one of the biggest cons of all time.
“As Chief of several of NASA Headquarters’ programs (1982-94), an SES position, I was responsible for all weather and climate research in the entire agency, including the research work by James Hansen, Roy Spencer, Joanne Simpson, and several hundred other scientists at NASA field centers, in academia, and in the private sector who worked on climate research,” Theon wrote of his career. “This required a thorough understanding of the state of the science.

Fighting global warming has become big business much like the war on drugs — except that drugs and drug addiction are real unlike global warming. Al Gore has made more than $100 million dollars since leaving politics and embarking on his global warming crusade. All those “carbon credits” that latte sipping liberals are always buying to offset their “carbon footprint” come from several companies the largest of which is owned by Al Gore. Moreover, Al claims to be “carbon neutral” because of the carbon offsets he buys — except that he buys them from himself.
Evidence is in fact continuing to mount that the earth is in fact cooling rather than warming. Of course to the global warming loons it’s because of global warming that it’s been so cold this winter just like it was because of global warming that summer was so hot. Everything proves global warming while nothing disproves it in the minds of some.
The Obama administration is about to base our entire economy and a lot of our foreign policy on what is a complete and total lie. The global warming agenda is a socialist, anti-capitalist, and anti-business agenda that is aimed at dismantling our way of life.

Anthrax Suspect Commits Suicide
A top anthrax researcher has committed suicide just as the FBI and federal prosecutors were closing in on him. Prosecutors were about to hand down multiple indictments seeking the death penalty against Bruce E. Ivans, a top anthrax scientist for the military at Fort Detrick, Md.
Ivans ingested a huge dose of Tylenol mixed with Codeine and died a short time later at a Maryland hospital. The 2001 anthrax attacks killed five people and crippled the U.S. postal system while the country was still reeling from the 9/11 attacks.
The FBI is considering the theory that Ivans released the anthrax as a way to test a vaccine he’d been working on.
Ivans was no different than the al-qaeda killers who hit us on 9/11. He was such an incredible coward to hide out in his lab and mail packages of death to his fellow countrymen. Ground zero still smoldered, the Pentagon was in ruins, and 3,000 Americans lay dead, and this guy decided to make his contribution to the horror.
The fear in our country was quite palpable and I remember it like it was yesterday. It seemed like everything about life as we knew it was being turned upside down. The sound of a plane approaching caused people to look skyward, public places became possible bomb targets.
Then one day people began to die simply from opening the mail. I remember holding my breath and opening suspicious pieces of mail wearing latex gloves.
Apollo 14 Astronaut Says Aliens Are Real
Dr. Edgar Mitchell, a moon walker and veteran of the Apollo 14 mission, says that aliens do indeed exist. According to Mitchell, aliens have visited earth on a number of occasions but the incidents have been cleverly covered up for the last six decades.
Dr Mitchell, 77, said during a radio interview that sources at the space agency who had had contact with aliens described the beings as ‘little people who look strange to us.’
He said supposedly real-life ET’s were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head.
“I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we’ve been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real,” Dr Mitchell said.
“It’s been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it’s leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it.
“I’ve been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes – we have been visited. Reading the papers recently, it’s been happening quite a bit.”
I’m actually inclined to believe Dr. Mitchell. I find it far-fetched that we are really alone in the universe considering the size of the universe. When you think about all the galaxies and all the planets in the universe, it’s nearly inconceivable that we’re alone.
The sheer volume of evidence suggesting the existence of aliens is becoming to large to deny. It’s almost laughable when up to 100 people see something in the sky that is absolutely not of this world and the government will say it’s a “Weather balloon.” As tired as that excuse is, for some reason it continues to be used on a regular basis.
Polls show the majority of Americans do believe in aliens, and do believe the government is covering it up. Kudos to Dr. Mitchell for his honesty on the subject.
