Attorney General Eric Holder Panders To Muslim Groups

eric holder 0114 thumb Attorney General Eric Holder Panders To Muslim Groups

Hat tip to Michelle for staying on this story. Attorney General Eric Holder flew to Detroit last night to pander to Muslim groups and assure them that the DOJ is committed to upholding their rights. He promised their would be no “profiling” of Arab Americans in light of the Fort Hood shooting, etc.

Reaching out to Arab Americans and Muslims, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said in a Detroit speech Thursday night that their full rights must be protected as the country battles security threats.

“This is not blind adherence to political correctness,” Holder told hundreds at the Detroit Marriott in the Renaissance Center. “It is devotion to our founding documents.”

He said that it’s vital that all ethnic and religious groups in America be treated equally. He also said racial profiling was bad policy that breeds mistrust and division.

“For the last nine months, I’ve heard from Muslim and Arab Americans who feel uneasy about their relationship with their government, who feel isolated and discriminated against by law enforcement,” Holder said. “It is inconsistent with what America is all about.”

…Holder spoke at the banquet of Advocates and Leaders for Police and Community Trust, which consists of about 100 minority groups and law enforcement officials in metro Detroit.

I’ll tell you what “breeds mistrust and division”, it’s having to worry if the Muslim soldier next you secretly wants to kill you.

Moreover, I don’t really give a damn if Muslims feel “uneasy” about their relationship with their government. I feel “uneasy” about them.

Muslim “Americans” have given us no reason to trust them. Their condemnation of Islamic terror has been consistently tepid ever since 9/11, and has remained so even after a U.S. soldier gunned down more than 50 people in the name of their God.

The notion that we shouldn’t “profile” is absurd. If you’re an Arab and you’re in this country you should get a little extra scrutiny. If it were the Irish who were trying to kill us or the Vietnamese I would feel exactly the same way.

It gives me no pleasure to feel this way, but lives are at stake and it’s important that we stop with the BS and be honest about what is going on.

When I see Muslim Americans take to the streets and protest the atrocities committed around the world in the name of their religion, then I may feel differently.

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely anything like that will ever happen. See, I’ve actually read the Koran and believe it or not the terrorists are right about what it says. Which is why I don’t buy into the premise that Islam is a “religion of peace.”

I know I’ll get a torrent of outraged emails calling me a racist and bigot and all the rest, and that’s absolutely fine. I stand by every word.

Bin Laden Mentor Condemns Fort Hood Shooting

November 16, 2009 · Filed Under U.S. News, War on Terror · Comment

From Wired:

The Ft. Hood shootings were so gruesome and inhuman, even Osama Bin Laden’s former spiritual mentor is condemning them — calling the massacre that killed 13 “irrational” and “empty of thought,” according to a translation provided to Danger Room by the NEFA Foundation.

Salman Al-Awdah, a Saudi cleric who played an influential role in Bin Laden’s early radicalism, made the statement during an appearance on his “Life is a Word” show on MBC, a Saudi-owned news and entertainment satellite TV channel, later posting his remarks on his website, Islam Today.

“Incidents [such as the Ft. Hood shootings]  have bad consequences, and undoubtedly this man might have a psychological problem; he may be a psychiatrist but he [also] might have had psychological distress, as he was being commissioned to go to Iraq or Afghanistan, and he was capable of refusing to work whatever the consequences were.”

I guess he should have made it sexier by waiting until he was deployed and then strapping some C4 to his chest and walking into a chow hall.

Just because one radical jihadi condemns another radical jihadi doesn’t mean anything. They’re both crazy assholes that we need to kill.

Two Muslim Terrorists In India Killed By Hungry Bear

bear thumb Two Muslim Terrorists In India Killed By Hungry Bear

This has to be one of the best stories ever. Three Muslim terrorists in Indian-administered Kashmir took up residence inside a cave and cooked up a batch of pudding to eat.

Not long after, the large bear that lived in that cave arrived home to find Islamic intruders in his house — and some uneaten pudding.

Outraged at the intrusion and more than a little hungry, the bear ate two of the terrorists and the rest of the pudding.

Only one terrorist made it out alive — barely.

Kudos to the bear.

General To Resign If Not Given Resources For Afghanistan

Stanley-McChrystal

General Stanley McChrystal who commands all forces in Afghanistan is prepared to resign if President Obama fails to deliver the troops and resources needed to win the war.

I don’t blame him a bit. If the president is not willing to give the military everything they need to win then we should just come home.

Allowing our troops to get chewed up by the enemy simply because the president wants to play politics is outrageous.

US Strikes Al Qaeda Target In Somalia, Most Wanted Terrorist Killed

saleh ali saleh nabhan 1 thumb US Strikes Al Qaeda Target In Somalia, Most Wanted Terrorist Killed

From ABC News:

A U.S. commando attack in Somalia has killed an al Qaeda operative who is on the FBI’s list of most wanted terrorists, sources tell ABC News.

The dead terrorist, Saleh Ali Nabhan, is believed to have taken part in the 1998 attacks on U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. He is also believed to have orchestrated the 2002 bombing of a resort hotel in Mombasa, Kenya, and a failed missile attack on an Israeli airliner leaving Mombasa airport.

Several sources tell ABC News at least one U.S. helicopter fired on a convoy carrying suspected al Qaeda targets in southern Somalia. An American official says a U.S. Navy ship was also nearby to monitor the situation and provide assistance if needed.

Ali Nabhan’s death has not yet been officially confirmed, but sources tell ABC News that his body is now in U.S. custody.

Ali Nabhan, a 28-year-old Kenyan, is on the FBI’s most wanted list for terrorist activities such as the resort and missile attacks as well as participation in the 1998 attack on the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.

An internal U.S. government report described to ABC News details Ali Nabhan’s efforts in Somalia as a top al Qaeda officer in East Africa. The report claims that Ali Nabhan ran training camps in Somalia for foreign fighters, including some Americans of Somali descent. Some of the graduates of these terror camps have been tied to attacks and threats around the globe, the report states.

According to one source, U.S. military helicopters attacked suspected al Qaeda elements traveling south of Mogadishu and killed all the occupants of the convoy. Initial reports say the U.S. choppers landed on the scene and took the bodies with them. Ali Nabhan’s body was among the causalities, the source said.

A U.S. official confirms that Ali Nabhan’s body was recovered by the attacking U.S. forces.

That was a gutsy move on our part. Major kudos to President Obama for having the stones to approve a mission like that. It sounds like our special ops guys once again performed flawlessly.

The Death Of Free Speech In Britain

Robert Spencer has an excellent piece at Human Events about the dire situation in London as it relates to radical Islam.

Local British citizens are afraid to even appear on camera discussing radical Islam, because they fear…government reprisals.

For when we finally tried to assemble in another place a roundtable of concerned British citizens to discuss the problem of the Islamization of Britain, one by one the British participants dropped out. If they appeared on camera, we were told, the government could and probably would threaten their livelihood.

Any suggestion real or implied that somehow it’s a problem that radical Islam is taking over London — well that’s just hate speech.

I really hope leaders in Britain and Europe get a clue about what is happening to their countries before it’s too late.

Up In Smoke: CIA Subjected Cole Bomber To Second-Hand Smoke

Cigar smoking

This via CNS News:

Abd al Rahim al-Nashiri, according to the 9-11 commission report, was the mastermind of the Oct. 12, 2000, attack on the U.S.S. Cole that killed 17 U.S. sailors.

Nashiri was also the target of an "unauthorized" CIA interrogation technique (that had not been legally vetted by the Justice Department) that is described in a May 7, 2004, CIA inspector general’s report that was partially declassified by the Obama administration this week.

CIA officers blew smoke in Nashiri’s face, according to the report, and they used cigars.

The IG’s office described this smoke-blowing as one of several "unauthorized or undocumented techniques" it discovered had been used in isolated incidents by CIA employees interrogating high-level al-Qaida terrorists.

"An Agency (redacted phrase) interrogator admitted that, in December 2002, he and another (redacted phrase) smoked cigars and blew cigar smoke in al-Nashiri’s face during the interrogation," said the IG report.

I know it sounds like a brutal war crime, but the interrogators had a reason for blowing smoke:

"The interrogator claimed they did this to ‘cover the stench’ in the room and to help keep the interrogators alert late at night," said the IG report. "This interrogator said he would not do this again based on ‘perceived criticism.’ Another agency interrogator admitted that he also smoked cigars during two sessions with al-Nashiri to mask the stench in the room. He claimed he did not deliberately force smoke into al-Nashiri’s face." The interrogators learned their lesson: Don’t blow smoke at terrorists.

Only in America could something this absurd actually be real. Second-hand smoke is considered an “unauthorized” interrogation technique?

I guess if you happen to break wind in front of a detainee you have to report that as well.

What he should have done is put that cigar out in al-Nashiri’s eye. Now that’s what I call an “unauthorized” technique. Oh yeah!!!

Rep. Pete King Goes Nuclear On Eric Holder

August 26, 2009 · Filed Under U.S. News, War on Terror · Comment

peter-king

Rep. Peter King had some choice words for Attorney General Eric Holder after learning the leftist AG was appointing a special prosecutor to investigate CIA.

"It’s bulls***. It’s disgraceful. You wonder which side they’re on," he said of the attorney general’s move, which he described as a "declaration of war against the CIA, and against common sense."

"It’s a total breach of faith, and either the president is intentionally caving to the left wing of his party or he’s lost control of his administration," said King, the ranking Republican on the House Committee on Homeland Security and a member of the House Select Committee on Intelligence.

"You’re talking about threatening to kill a guy, threatening to attack his family, threatening to use an electric drill on him — but never doing it," King said.  "You have that on the one hand — and on the other you have the [interrogator's] attempt to prevent thousands of Americans from being killed…"

"When Holder was talking about being ’shocked’ [before the report's release], I thought they were going to have cutting guys’ fingers off or something — or that they actually used the power drill," he said.

King is absolutely right. What I can’t believe is that republicans ever allowed a scumbag like Holder to be confirmed. If there were ever a nominee to filibuster — Eric Holder was it.

Holder has always been sympathetic to terrorists. He’s a hardcore leftists ideologue with a very deep resentment of his own country. We’re in the middle of a two wars and Holder spends his time looking for ways to release terrorists and to prosecute CIA.

Eric Holder is one of the most despicable cretins to ever hold a government job. He should have been disbarred after his shenanigans under Clinton. He’s not fit to be a dog catcher.

Out of all the radicals Obama has installed in the government, Eric Holder is the one I’ve been most concerned about from day one. He’s the most dangerous Attorney General in United States history.
