“60 Minutes” sat down for a wide ranging interview with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta:

The only thing I found irritating about this interview is how they portray the hunt for Osama bin Laden. They make it seem as if Panetta rode into town on a white horse and got Bin Laden. Panetta was the beneficiary of years of intelligence work, much of which took place under Bush. Panetta was just the guy who saw it to the finish line. That said, Panetta seems like a competent guy. A real straight shooter. He’s perhaps the best hire of Obama’s presidency.

According to “60 Minutes” Al Sharpton is now Obama’s liaison with the black community. You would think as a black guy Obama would know that only a small percentage of the black community gives a fig what Al Sharpton has to say.

Back in January I said this man should be the next president of Afghanistan. Karzai is a joke. He’s two-faced and corrupt. This man is not. His name is Amrullah Saleh and he was the head of Afghanistan’s intelligence service until he quit in disgust over Karzai’s corruption. He was considered by the US to be among the most effective members of the Karzai government and remains one of our closest allies. Saleh is not a person who would ever play footsie with the Taliban or harbor Al Qaeda. He’s been fighting them all his life. This is the guy we need.

This is very disturbing. Lara Logan barely escaped with her life. Further proof that the Arab world is largely filled with savages and barbarians. They don’t treat their own women with respect so obviously savagely attacking one of ours is nothing. Once they thought she was a Jew it was fine to tear her apart.

Julian Assange was on “60 Minutes” last night defending WikiLeaks. I have very mixed emotions about Assange. I believe he does have an anti-American agenda to a large extent. I’d like to see if he has the balls to leak against China or Russia the way he leaks against us. That will show who he is and what his agenda really is. Let him leak against countries who don’t give a fig about human rights or international law. The Russians won’t spend years trying to extradite him to Moscow for trial, they’ll just whack him in Britain.

Gov. Chris Christie among others was interviewed on last night’s “60 Minutes.” The subject was the coming collapse of state governments across the nation. Weighed down by over the top spending and out of control public sector unions, many states are facing bankruptcy.

When I saw this last night I knew it would be making headlines today. Republican John Boehner, the man about to be Speaker of the House, wept throughout his interview on “60 Minutes” last night.

I have nothing against a man crying. When Boehner got emotional on election night a couple of weeks ago I didn’t think it was a big deal. In fact, I was inspired to learn about his humble beginnings.

That said, he needs to get his emotions under control. I can’t remember the last time I saw a man cry this much on television. He’s going to have to deal with Democrats like Harry Reid and Nancy “Stretch” Pelosi who don’t have a single tear duct between them.

You can’t deal effectively with ice-cold, soulless left-wingers if you break down in tears at the mere sight of school children.

I think John Boehner may be suffering from “Low T.”
