Al-Qaeda No. 2 says 9/11 Conspiracy Theory Propagated By Iran
Apparently Al-Qaeda’s second in command, Ayman al-Zawahri, is outraged that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad keeps spreading the 9/11 conspiracy theory.
In a newly released audio tape Al-Zawahri accuses the Iranian President of trying to discredit Al-Qaeda by suggesting that Israel and the U.S. were behind the 9/11 attacks.
On the tape, Al-Zawahri answers questions posted to him on an Islamic militant website.
One of the questioners asked about the theory that has circulated in the Middle East and elsewhere that Israel was behind the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
Al-Zawahri accused Hezbollah’s Al-Manar television of starting the rumor.
“The purpose of this lie is clear—(to suggest) that there are no heroes among the Sunnis who can hurt America as no else did in history. Iranian media snapped up this lie and repeated it,” he said.
“Iran’s aim here is also clear—to cover up its involvement with America in invading the homes of Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq,” he said.
Iran cooperated with the United States in the 2001 U.S. assault on Afghanistan that toppled al-Qaida’s allies, the Taliban.
The terror leader was also asked for his thoughts on global warming (I’m not making this up) and he was happy to opine on that subject as well:
He predicted that global warming would “make the world more sympathetic to and understanding of the Muslims’ jihad against the aggressor America.”
I really hope the handful of people who still believe Al-Qaeda wasn’t really behind 9/11 will at least begin to rethink their conclusions after this latest audio tape. Maybe this will make some of America’s great thinkers like Rosie O’Donnell, Charlie Sheen, and Jesse Ventura, take a second look at the evidence and quit being stuck on stupid.
Bill Clinton To Ron Paul Supporters: “You’re Nuts”
From MSNBC:
Several Ron Paul supporters shadowed a much larger Clinton entourage as Bill Clinton greeted supporters downtown. The former president later called them “nuts.”
During his third stop of the day, the former president posed for pictures and shook hands as he strolled down Main Street on this unseasonably warm Primary Eve day. Across the street, a few Paul supporters shouted his name.
Eventually, Clinton stopped outside a bakery, offered some remarks, and took questions. As he was answering one on Iraq, one of the Paul backers interrupted and shouted that the Sept. 11 attacks were an inside job, and that the U.S. didn’t need to be in Iraq and Afghanistan.
When he dropped an F-bomb, the crowd booed. Clinton, who had tried to talk over the man, gave up.
“You wanna know what I think?” Clinton said. “You guys who think 9/11 was an inside job are crazy as hell. My wife was the senator from New York when that happened. I was down at Ground Zero. I saw the victims’ families. You’re nuts.”
It’s important for high profile people like Bill Clinton to call those nutty assholes out and expose them for the idiots they are.
People who really believe that 9/11 was inside job are just not playing with a full deck, and need to get back on their meds before they hurt someone.
I still can’t figure out why the “9/11 Truthers” are all supporting Ron Paul. Has Ron Paul said that he supports that crap? If not, then what is the rationale behind supporting him?
Any 9/11 Truthers who can answer this question, please leave a comment.
What is it about a small segment of the population that allows them to be convinced of such ridiculous conspiracies?
No matter how much evidence you show those people they simply refuse to give up the conspiracy stuff.
