Slate: Big Breitbart
Slate has an interesting piece on Andrew Breitbart that’s definitely worth a read.

James O’Keefe’s Next ACORN Is HUD
It looks like Wired Magazine has the scoop on James O’Keefe’s next target after his now famous ACORN videos. He’s going after HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development). Wired writer Noah Shachtman was given unprecedented access to Andrew Breitbart and a behind-the-scenes look at his “Big” sites. O’Keefe showed Shachtman a little preview of his HUD sting videos and they sound juicy. The bureaucrats over at HUD are committing fraud with the 10% tax credit Obama is giving to first time home buyers.
Click over to Wired and read Noah Shachtman’s excellent piece about Andrew Breitbart and his media tweaking world.

Nothing gives me more pleasure than to watch Andrew Breitbart strike back at these left-wing smear merchants. I love it. Max Blumenthal is such a little weasel. I only wish we could be transported back in time and be minors again just for one day so I could kick his ass.

Video: Hannah Giles Tells Max Blumenthal About His Boogers
The left has tried to embarrass Conservatives for years using all manner of cheap shot tactics. Liberals have made the politics of personal destruction nothing short of an art form.
Which is why the work of Andrew Breitbart, Hannah Giles, James O’Keefe, and others is so important. Liberals aren’t the only ones who can use the tactics of the late Saul Alinsky.
Here’s a funny clip of the always beautiful Hannah Giles embarrassing the shit out of Max Blumenthal at CPAC. Click the link above for the back story on this!
Read Max’s post on the HuffPo from a couple a days ago and you’ll see what kind of an unhinged nut this guy is. I honestly question his sanity.
If you haven’t seen Breitbart’s epic takedown of Blumenthal at CPAC yet, you’re missing out. He ripped him a new ass.

Statement From James O’Keefe On Arrest
Here’s a statement released on Big Government from James O’Keefe concerning his recent arrest.
The government has now confirmed what has always been clear: No one tried to wiretap or bug Senator Landrieu’s office. Nor did we try to cut or shut down her phone lines. Reports to this effect over the past 48 hours are inaccurate and false.
As an investigative journalist, my goal is to expose corruption and lack of concern for citizens by government and other institutions, as I did last year when our investigations revealed the massive corruption and fraud perpetrated by ACORN. For decades, investigative journalists have used a variety of tactics to try to dig out and reveal the truth.
I learned from a number of sources that many of Senator Landrieu’s constituents were having trouble getting through to her office to tell her that they didn’t want her taking millions of federal dollars in exchange for her vote on the healthcare bill. When asked about this, Senator Landrieu’s explanation was that, “Our lines have been jammed for weeks.” I decided to investigate why a representative of the people would be out of touch with her constituents for “weeks” because her phones were broken. In investigating this matter, we decided to visit Senator Landrieu’s district office – the people’s office – to ask the staff if their phones were working.
On reflection, I could have used a different approach to this investigation, particularly given the sensitivities that people understandably have about security in a federal building. The sole intent of our investigation was to determine whether or not Senator Landrieu was purposely trying to avoid constituents who were calling to register their views to her as their Senator. We video taped the entire visit, the government has those tapes, and I’m eager for them to be released because they refute the false claims being repeated by much of the mainstream media.
It has been amazing to witness the journalistic malpractice committed by many of the organizations covering this story. MSNBC falsely claimed that I violated a non-existent “gag order.” The Associated Press incorrectly reported that I “broke in” to an office which is open to the public. The Washington Post has now had to print corrections in two stories on me. And these are just a few examples of inaccurate and false reporting. The public will judge whether reporters who can’t get their facts straight have the credibility to question my integrity as a journalist.

Kudos to Breitbart for appearing on the Obama Network to confront chucklehead David Shuster for his lies about James O’Keefe.
It blows my mind how asshat “journalists” like Shuster can defend a sleazy criminal front group like ACORN. If we didn’t have such a corrupt Attorney General ACORN would be facing a RICO case.
ACORN was the first thing I thought about when I head James got arrested. It doesn’t matter if he wasn’t trying to wiretap, because the left doesn’t care about the truth.
This incident will be used by the left to cast doubt on the ACORN tapes and anything else he does in the future. Conservatives have to hold themselves to a higher standard when fighting on the frontlines.
We cannot afford to have even the appearance of illegality, because dishonest state controlled media outfits and failing newspapers will use it as a weapon against us.
It’s no accident smear merchants like Shuster chose to call this “Watergate II” because Bush is second only to Nixon when it comes to right-wing boogiemen.

Breitbart Launches ‘Big Journalism’
Andrew Breitbart has launched his much anticipated group blog Big Journalism. Here’s what Andrew told Mediaite last month about the site:
Big Journalism will be run by former Time Magazine staffer Michael Walsh, who is also a former journalism professor and film & television professor at Boston University. Walsh and Breitbart met at a casual gathering of like-minded people and hit it off. When Breitbart made the decision to launch a new site covering journalism, he says that Walsh was first person that came to his mind. The fact that Walsh is a media veteran going back to the early 70s didn’t hurt, he said.
“Big Journalism will be the go-to site for solidly backed-up stories, sharp points of view, and really great writing,” he said. “We are defenders of the First Amendment and resolute enemies of political correctness. That’s the key to the site’s philosophy.”
Big Journalism will join Breitbart’s ever growing network of group blogs that includes Big Hollywood and Big Government. It was Big Government that drove force the ACORN scandal last year. Andrew was given exclusive rights to release the explosive undercover ACORN sting videos by Hanna Giles and James O’Keefe.
If Big Hollywood and in particular Big Government are any indication I think we can expect great things from Big Journalism. It’s about time the state controlled media or “democrat media complex” as Breitbart calls it, had a little competition.
You can look for Big Journalism to cover the stories the media ignores because of ideology, political correctness, or both.
Breitbart Threatens To Release More Tapes If AG Holder Doesn’t Investigate ACORN
Breitbart says he not only has more ACORN tapes, but tapes of others as well. I hope he has some dirt on SEIU.
