I’ve been working on migrating THJ to new servers this afternoon. The job is almost complete, but strange errors may show up. Missing images, posts, etc. The problem should be resolved by morning.

Take a look at this website I created. It’s a tool that I hope news junkies and bloggers will find useful. It’s called Conurls (Conservative urls) and it’s a blog aggregator. It takes the latest 5 headlines from top Conservative blogs and displays them on a single page. As the blogs are updated so too is Conurls in near real-time.

What this means is that you can simply scan the page and get a sense of what the Conservative blogosphere is talking about at any particular time. Rather than having to check your favorite blogs individually you can see them all at one time on a single page.

It’s not only a great tool for news gathering purposes, but it’s a huge time saver.

There are about 60 blogs on Conurls.com at the moment. More will be added in the future. You’ll also notice I’ve added sites that aggregate liberal and Libertarian blogs as well.

I encourage everyone to check out Conurls.com and give me some feedback. The response from bloggers and readers so far has been great.

I would also appreciate it if bloggers would link back to Conurls and tell other people about the site.

It’s still very much in the beta stage of testing, but I would like everyone to check out a brand new site I launched this week. It’s called Contwit and it’s a live stream of conservative chatter on Twitter. The standard hashtag that conservatives tag their tweets with is #TCOT (Top Conservatives On Twitter).

What Contwit does is show a live stream of every tweet tagged with #TCOT in real-time. In the coming weeks their will be additional features added as well.

Anyway, take a look at the site and let me know what you think.

I felt like it was time for a change around here so I redesigned the site. You can expect the site to go down for “maintenance” a few more times over the coming the days as I finish up the redesign. I’m adding a new header and a few other new features so stay tuned!

I am upgrading to a new server Monday so expect this site and Conurls to be down for the day. If the migration goes smoothly we should be back up and running by Tuesday morning. You can expect a much faster site and much smoother operation overall.

The site has been down most of the day, because we got hacked over the weekend. There will be no updates today as we are working to clean out the infections and get things running smoothly again. I will keep you posted.

Just wanted to let everyone know that my recently launched conservative blog aggregator called Conurls was updated this morning.

Three blog feeds and one video feed were added — one blog feed was taken away.

The removal of a blog from Conurls will likely be extremely rare, but sometimes it must be done.

Any bloggers out there who like Conurls please link to it so that others may find it!
