Code Pink Protester Tries To ‘Arrest’ Karl Rove
I was just thinking the other day that I haven’t seen the Code Pinkos off their meds in a while, but they made a strong and ridiculous comeback on Tuesday.
Former Bush aide Karl Rove (The Devil) was on a panel in San Francisco discussing the mortgage crisis, when all of a sudden one of the broads from Code Pink appears on stage and attempts to handcuff Rove. She screamed that she was making a “citizen’s arrest” of Karl for ‘”treason.”
Security appeared seconds later and dragged the woman from the stage and booted her out along with five other Pinkos in the audience.

Canada Deports First Military Deserter Back To The U.S.
Canada has deported the first of an estimated 200 U.S. military deserters back to America. 25-year old Robin Long exausted his last remaining appeal this week for refugee status in Canada, and was promptly shipped back to the U.S.
Robin Long, 25, was removed a day after a Federal Court judge in Vancouver rejected his claim that he would suffer irreparable harm if returned to the United States. He fled across the border in 2005 as his army tank unit was preparing to deploy to Iraq.
Canada is right to send deserters back. Cowards like Long are a disgrace to this nation and deserve to face justice. Over 1 million men and women have served their country honorably in Iraq, but Long was too much of a coward to do his part. People like him don’t deserve to live under the freedom they were so fortunate to be born under.
U.S. military law states that desertion during a time of war is punishable by death. Unfortunately, Long is unlikely to get the death penalty but will probably serve time in a federal prison.
After he finishes his prison sentence he should be stripped of his U.S. citizenship and deported from the United States forever.
Washington Post Calls Obama’s Iraq Speech “Irrational”
I don’t think I’ve heard this much honesty out of the Washington Post–ever. They completely shred Obama’s big speech yesterday where he outlined his naive plans for Iraq and Afghanistan.
BARACK OBAMA yesterday accused President Bush and Sen. John McCain of rigidity on Iraq: “They said we couldn’t leave when violence was up, they say we can’t leave when violence is down.” Mr. Obama then confirmed his own foolish consistency. Early last year, when the war was at its peak, the Democratic candidate proposed a timetable for withdrawing all U.S. combat forces in slightly more than a year. Yesterday, with bloodshed at its lowest level since the war began, Mr. Obama endorsed the same plan. After hinting earlier this month that he might “refine” his Iraq strategy after visiting the country and listening to commanders, Mr. Obama appears to have decided that sticking to his arbitrary, 16-month timetable is more important than adjusting to the dramatic changes in Iraq.
The Washington Post could not be more right about that. It takes real chutzpah to accuse the Bush administration of being stubborn about Iraq, when Obama himself has been stubborn. His plan from the beginning was a “get out at any cost” approach and he indicated yesterday he intends to stick to that.
So why even visit Iraq? If his plan is to pull out all the troops in 16 months no matter what then why bother going to Iraq at all? General Petraeus may have spent the last 30 years of his life in the Army, but clearly Obama believes he knows more about fighting wars than he does. Rather than wasting tax payer dollars on an expensive photo-op in Iraq with his budy Chuck Hagel, Obama should just stay home.
I think Barry has shown what kind of leader he’ll be. It only took him about four hours to completely cave to pressure from the far-left on his Iraq position. When he spoke on July 3rd about visiting Iraq and further “refining” his position, it caused on uproar on the looney left. By around four o’clock that afternoon, Obama held a second press conference reiterating his promise to start withdrawing immediately upon taking office.
Since then he’s been ratcheting up his rhetoric on Iraq to pre-general election levels. Assuring everyone that he intends to see America defeated in Iraq no matter what.
For all the criticism of President Bush, one thing you cannot say about him is that he caves to pressure. When he believes something he sticks with it no matter who’s against it or how many people protest. He once said famously that he’ll stay in Iraq “even if Laura and Barney (his dog) are the only ones left who support me.” You’re not likely to ever see that kind of backbone out of Barack Obama. He couldn’t even make it through a full day before totally caving to MoveOn.org and Code Pink.
The real difference between John McCain and Barack Obama is that Obama views the Iraq war exclusively through a political lens. While McCain looks at it from a national security point of view without regard to politics. Proof of this is that John McCain was a vocal supporter of the surge when public opinion was running about 80% against it. That’s one of the reasons his campaign went belly-up in the beginning of the primaries. It was during that time that McCain said he would rather lose an election than lose a war.
Obama could care less about winning the war, he just wants to be President. If he has to suck at the teet of MoveOn.org and Code Pink to get there he’s certainly more than willing to do so. One needs only to look at the way Obama’s website was scrubbed of all his past criticisms of the surge last weekend to know that Barack Obama plays politics with national security.

Video: Chris Matthews Remembers Tim Russert As A Dupe
Partisan hack Chris Matthews couldn’t resist the temptation to make anti-war statements even when remembering his “friend” Tim Russert. Matthews basically said that he always knew the Iraq war was a lie, but Russert was fooled right along with the rest of the country, which is why he was “Mr. America.”
If those are supposed to be kind words of remembrance, I’d hate to hear what Matthews would say about someone he didn’t like.
Chris Matthews is a hack and a pathetic excuse for a journalist. Tim Russert went out of his way to give an unbiased presentation and was a one of the greatest journalists of all time. Chris Matthews didn’t deserve to share the same room with a class act like Russert. Tim Russert was the only thing standing in the way of NBC becoming official property of the far-left.
Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann are despicable people and horrible journalists. They are the last people on earth who should anchoring anything.

Coward: US soldier refuses to serve in ‘illegal Iraq war’
Meet Matthis Chiroux, the latest darling of the far-left and an active duty Sergeant in the U.S. Army. After crying openly while listening to the testimony of the disgraceful “Iraq Veterans Against The War”, Chiroux held a press conference and proudly announced his decision not to deploy to Iraq as ordered, because he cannot go against his “core values” and participate in the “illegal occupation”.
“I stand before you today with the strength and clarity and resolve to declare to the military, my government and the world that this soldier will not be deploying to Iraq,” Chiroux said in the sun-filled rotunda of a congressional building in Washington.
“My decision is based on my desire to no longer continue violating my core values to support an illegal and unconstitutional occupation… I refuse to participate in the Iraq occupation,” he said, as a dozen veterans of the five-year-old Iraq war looked on.
Chiroux’s announcement came minutes after the far-left Democrats who make up the “Progressive Caucus” held hearings about ending the Iraq war. The centerpiece of the hearings was testimony from members of the anti-war group, “Iraq Veterans Against The War.”
The hearings descended into an orgy of anti-American/anti-military sentiment which consisted of a litany of falsehoods, mischaracterizations, and outright propaganda.
The ex-soldiers accused the military of “lawless murders, looting and the abuse of countless Iraqis.”
One veteran offered to “name names” of officers in his chain-of-command who he believed were guilty of crimes.
The entire episode was much like and in some ways worse than John Kerry’s famous testimony before Congress during the Vietnam war. Kerry accused the military of war crimes, including the cutting off of ears, and razing villages in a manner reminiscent of Genghis Khan (”Jinjiss Kon” if you want to say it like Kerry).
Like Kerry, these Iraq veterans didn’t complete their service, accept their medals, and go on with life. Instead, they chose to disgrace their country and sully the reputation of the U.S. military in front of an all-to-eager bunch of left-wing Senators.
People like Sgt. Chiroux are a disgrace to the uniform they still wear, and he’s wrong to refuse to go to Iraq. When you join the military your job is to go where the President sends you. You don’t get to decide which wars your willing to participate in.
Chiroux has been ordered to report for duty in Iraq in June, and when he fails to show up he will be prosecuted. In a perfect world, Chiroux would be sent to prison, stripped of his citizenship, and sent elsewhere.

Code Pink Protesters Resort To Witchcraft Outside Marine Recruiting Center
If you thought the most disgraceful and repugnant group of women in the country known as Code Pink couldn’t possibly sink any lower, you’d be wrong.
The crazy b*tches from Code Pink are still protesting outside the Marine recruiting center in Berkeley, California. The protests which made headlines around the country a few months ago still continue to this day, albeit significantly smaller.
However, what Code Pink lacks in numbers they make-up for with pure insanity. The group has told ralliers to come equipped with spells and pointy hats today for “Witches, clowns and sirens day,” the last of the group’s weeklong homage to Mother’s Day.
“Women are coming to cast spells and do rituals and to impart wisdom to figure out how we’re going to end war,” Zanne Sam Joi of Bay Area Code Pink told FOXNews.com.
This entire week of protesting has had a different bizarre theme each day in hopes it will attract new protesters to the group’s efforts. The week has included a day for “raging grannies” in which grannies came to protest, some as old as 90 and in wheel chairs no less.
The group also had “Take your daughter To Protest Day” in hopes of creating a brand new generation of looney anti-American b*tches.
The Marines say that protests have been going on outside the recruitment center for so long that they barely even notice.
“Most of the time they are just practicing their right to protest and their freedom of speech or whatever, so it’s not usually a problem for us. But sometimes it crosses the line, and that happened [Monday] when the grannies were here blocking the entrance and banging on the door,” Capt. John Paul Wheatcroft told Fox News.
Wheatcroft said the protests have actually been a good thing, because their numbers are up. He said the Marines could never afford to pay for the kind of publicity they’ve received for free thanks to Code Pink’s efforts.
“Ironically, it’s actually helped us by putting our name out. We’re now well known. And people know who we are, and where we are, and they come in to talk to us about enlisting. They’ve gotten us the publicity that we could’ve never afforded to pay for ourselves,” Wheatcroft said.
Regardless of whether or not the protests have helped the recruitment effort, it’s nevertheless disgusting and despicable for Code Pink to be trying to cast “spells” on our men and women in uniform.
Those folks are serving their country for very little pay and don’t deserve to be disrespected by the left-wing clowns in Berkeley.
Fox News actually has a 24-hour “Protest Cam” set-up in front of the recruitment center which you can look at HERE to stay abreast of all the action.
