Michelle Obama On Bill Clinton: “I want to rip his eyes out!”
Via World Net Daily:
Michelle Obama, wife of presidential candidate Barack Obama, known for saying what’s on her mind – candidly, spontaneously and frequently – has exposed this trait yet again in a profile in the London Guardian.
Asked how she feels about Bill Clinton’s use of the phrase “fairytale” to describe her husband’s characterization of his position on the Iraq war, she first responded: “No.”
But, after a few seconds of contemplation, and gesturing with her fingernails, she told the reporter: “I want to rip his eyes out!”
Noticing an aide giving her a nervous look, she added: “Kidding! See, this is what gets me into trouble.”

Clintons’ Tax Return Shows $109 Million in Income
From Time:
The former first couple paid $33.7 million in taxes, gave $10.2 million to charity from 2000-2007.
Taxes total 31% of their adjusted gross income.
This story is continuing to develop, but I think it’s safe to say the Clintons’ are doing okay.
Bill Clinton Throws Fit During Meeting With Superdelegates
Bill Clinton met with California’s superdelegates last weekend and they were treated to a red-faced hissy fit from the former President.
…Clinton had one of his famous meltdowns Sunday, blasting away at former presidential contender Bill Richardson for having endorsed Obama, the media and the entire nomination process.
“It was one of the worst political meetings I have ever attended,” one superdelegate said.
According to those at the meeting, Clinton - who flew in from Chicago with bags under his eyes - was classic old Bill at first, charming and making small talk with the 15 or so delegates who gathered in a room behind the convention stage.
But as the group moved together for the perfunctory photo, Rachel Binah, a former Richardson delegate who now supports Hillary Clinton, told Bill how “sorry” she was to have heard former Clinton campaign manager James Carville call Richardson a “Judas” for backing Obama.
It was as if someone pulled the pin from a grenade.
“Five times to my face (Richardson) said that he would never do that,” a red-faced, finger-pointing Clinton erupted.
The former president then went on a tirade that ran from the media’s unfair treatment of Hillary to questions about the fairness of the votes in state caucuses that voted for Obama. It ended with him asking delegates to imagine what the reaction would be if Obama was trailing by just 1 percent and people were telling him to drop out.
“It was very, very intense,” said one attendee. “Not at all like the Bill of earlier campaigns.”
It really is an amazing thing to watch the Clinton’s literally become unhinged as the nomination slips further and further from Hillary’s grasp. Bill Clinton has been suffering from a chronic case of “foot-in-mouth” disease since the first day of his wife’s campaign.
Bill Clinton’s anger at Richardson is understandable, but his continued amateurish blunders are not. I’ve never been a fan of the Clinton’s, but I have always respected Bill Clinton’s skill as a politician. In many people’s eyes Bill Clinton’s political prowess is almost mythical, but his repeated outbursts and blunders are slowly eroding that myth.

Hypocrisy: Clinton Pardon Papers Remain Sealed
Hillary Clinton likes to accuse the Bush administration of excessive secrecy and a variety of alleged wrong doings, but it looks increasingly like she’s throwing stones from a glass house.
The Clinton Presidential Library withheld more than a thousand pages about clemency the former president granted during his last days in office—including a pardon to fugitive financier Marc Rich—from a batch of documents recently released to the public.
The library released 2,830 pages of documents this week on pardons President Bill Clinton considered for Rich and others during his last months in office. But the library withheld another 1,114 pages that archivists said would disclose confidential discussion of advice the former president received from advisers.
Bill Clinton issued 140 pardons and 36 commutations during the final hours of his administration, but Bill and Hillary have guarded the details of those pardons ever since. Hillary should take some of her own advice and let the sunlight in and be an example of the kind transparency she’s always recommending for others.

Bill Clinton Slaps Obama Supporter At Campaign Event
From MSNBC:
Robert Holeman came to Timken High School here today with a message to deliver to Bill Clinton. He did — and he said the former president wasn’t happy about it.
Clinton spoke to a capacity crowd in this Northeast Ohio town, the third of five events today in the Buckeye State. He told voters that the contest was “the power of speeches against the promise of solutions by a world-class change maker.”
Throughout the event, as Clinton made his case for his wife, Holeman’s dissenting voice could be heard. At times he simply shouted Obama’s name. When Clinton would set up a sure applause line, Holeman could be heard heckling. As soon as Clinton finished speaking, the Canton native made a beeline to the ropeline to give Clinton a piece of his mind.
“I asked the president to please stop the bickering between the campaigns,” Holeman said in an interview afterwards. “All this name calling is like the bully in the yard. He can’t get his way, he can’t get nothing done.” Holeman said he thought Clinton was “gasping for air.”
“This is the last hurrah. After March 4, Hillary Clinton will be out of the race for good, and Obama will take the commanding lead,” he said. “She should back him with her delegates immediately. That’s what I’m asking them to do.”
Holeman said that Clinton responded by saying Obama came after him first. Holeman also described Clinton’s reaction to him as “irate.”
“I think he even hit me in the face with his hand,” he said. “He did give me a little pop. It was okay, because I understand his tenacity for his wife.” Clinton did engage Holeman for a few minutes, at times pointing directly at him. It was unclear whether he did make physical contact, however….
Several Clinton supporters who saw the exchange came up to Holeman after to — shall we say delicately — express their disapproval for his actions. More negativity, Holeman said. “Hillary Clinton has started the most negative campaign I have ever seen, other than what the Republicans can launch,” he said. “I think we need to come together on those issues.”
I don’t know how accurate this story really is since it’s MSNBC reporting it. I wouldn’t put it past them to just make up a story out of thin air. That said, if it is true Bill is continuing to ensure that his wife will never be President.
Who would have thought it would have been Bill Clinton that eventually caused his wife’s campaign to implode?
Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comment section.

John Kerry: “Bill Clinton Doesn’t Have License To Abuse The Truth”
From CNN:
John Kerry, the Democratic Party’s 2004 nominee for president, took aim at Bill Clinton Friday, telling the National Journal the former president does “not have a license to abuse the truth.”
The Massachusetts senator, who endorsed Barack Obama’s White House bid earlier this month, said Clinton’s criticisms of the Illinois senator have been “over the top,” and suggested the former president is getting “frantic.”
Targeting Clinton’s recent spate of attacks on Obama, Kerry said, “I think you had an abuse of the truth, is what happened. …I mean, being an ex-president does not give you license to abuse the truth, and I think that over the last days it’s been over the top.
“I think it’s very unfortunate, but I think the voters can see through that,” Kerry added. “When somebody’s coming on strong and they are growing, people get a little frantic, and I think people have seen this sort of franticness in the air, if you will.”
It’s quite possible that hell has in fact frozen over, because I actually agree with John Kerry on this one. I don’t think the Clintons realize how much damage they’re actually doing to themselves.
Even Clinton supporters are being reminded of the unpleasant political baggage that comes with a Clinton presidency and I don’t think most of them care to deal with it again.
It’s a simple fact that Bill Clinton is a liar. He lied to his family numerous times about his cheating, he lied under oath about his cheating, he lied about Sandy Berger being forgetful as the reason he stuffed classified documents in his pants.
There’s a list about a mile long of other situations where Bill Clinton has lied. Not the “Bush lied people died” nonsense, but actually really lied.
For his entire political and personal life, Bill Clinton has lied anytime he felt like it. The man doesn’t have any integrity whatsoever, and his recent fibbing about Obama is reminding people about that.
A lot of Democrats are beginning to understand why Republicans dislike the Clintons so much. Bill and Hillary will literally say anything about anyone if it helps them win.
If they had to plant a crack pipe in Obama’s suit jacket in order to win, that’s exactly what they would do.
Politics is an ugly business and obviously there’s going to be heated rhetoric on both sides, but Bill Clinton looks like a jackass running around the country making false statements.
There’s a lot about Obama to be critical of without making stuff up.
