This is absolutely horrible. Memphis radio host Thaddeus Matthews viciously berates Republican congressional candidate Charlotte Bergmann simply because she’s a black Republican. At the end he even refuses to shake her hand because he didn’t want her “whiteness” to “rub off” on him. Despicable.

New Black Panther

The Black Panthers were on the streets of Harlem over the weekend rallying against the “black Holocaust” and decrying the white man. But it wasn’t all bullhorns and violent threats. They were also giving back to the community by holding curbside lectures for kids. They calmly explained to the youngsters that they have nothing to fear from their “brothers and sisters.” It’s only racist “crackers” and the government who are the enemy of black people. The Panthers went on to reveal that police officers have a “license” to shoot black people.

I wonder why we haven’t heard about this license before? What does it look like? Is it similar to James Bond’s “License To Kill?” Do police need a separate license to shoot Latinos? What about Jews? Are cracker cops allowed to shoot fellow crackers?

This is the kind of education young black males just can’t get inside a classroom. These large black cats are truly doing yeoman’s work.

The far left deplores racism until a person of color disagrees with them.

I don’t mean to belabor the Shirley Sherrod case. The entire dust-up over the clip that took her out of context has certainly run its course. However, since the media wants to pretend Shirley Sherrod is some kind of civil rights hero I thought it was worth highlighting this.

Ron Wilkins, Africana Studies Professor at California State University, wrote a very interesting piece over at Counter Punch. He claims to know Sherrod and says she’s more a victimizer than a victim.

He says the media narrative about her fighting for the rights of poor black farmers in the 60’s and 70’s is a fairy tale. The truth according to Wilkins (who was there) is a very different story.

If confession is good for the soul, then Mrs. Sherrod took a first step toward her redemption by admitting the error of her ways in her earlier attitudes toward poor white farmers. Mrs. Sherrod says she began to see poverty as more central than race. So, should indigent black child farm laborers warrant less reflection by Mrs. Sherrod? What lessons does she have to share from her tenure as management when she had power over her own people working under deplorable conditions at the same New Communities, Inc.(NCI) identified in the current issue? Shirley Sherrod could have included this chapter of her history in the same confession speech. Justice and integrity require at least as much accountability from Mrs. Sherrod to the poor black farm workers of NCI as to the white farmers she came to befriend. This lack of full disclosure of the whole truth is a “sin of omission” that trivializes the suffering of poor black farm workers and exacerbates the offenses of NCI.

Shirley Sherrod was New Communities Inc. store manager during the 1970s. As such, Mrs. Sherrod was a key member of the NCI administrative team, which exploited and abused the workforce in the field. The 6,000 acre New Communities Inc. in Lee County promoted itself during the latter part of the 1960s and throughout the 70s as a land trust committed to improving the lives of the rural black poor. Underneath this facade, the young and old worked long hours with few breaks, the pay averaged sixty-seven cents an hour, fieldwork behind equipment spraying pesticides was commonplace and workers expressing dissatisfaction were fired without recourse.

There’s a lot more to the story. Everyone should click over to Counter Punch and read the rest of the column. It really shows just how lazy the media is today. Either they’re willfully ignorant to protect their leftist agenda or they just don’t care to investigate stories anymore. I believe it’s done on purpose. To reveal the truth about Shirley Sherrod would destroy the media narrative that Andrew Breitbart is a racist who wants to bring back slavery.

None of this takes away from the fact that she was fired over a video clip that took her out of context. However, since her supposedly heroic civil rights past has become a major story I think it should be told accurately.

The pending conviction of Baltimore Mayor Dixon on charges of theft and perjury have the NAACP worried. Not worried about corruption of course, but worried that the republican governor of Maryland could appoint someone “white” or someone “Irish” to replace the black mayor.

Marvin Cheatham, president of the Baltimore NAACP has introduced a resolution to strip the governor of his powers of appointment to prevent this nightmare scenario from happening.

Marvin L. Cheatham, the president of the Baltimore Chapter of the NAACP, introduced the resolution because he heard an attorney on a radio program discussing a lack of clarity on succession if Dixon were to be convicted and sentenced.

"Our concern is who would the governor appoint?" Cheatham said. "Here you have a predominantly African-American city. What if the governor appointed somebody white? … Would he appoint someone Irish to be the mayor?"

Isn’t it amazing how blatant black racism doesn’t even raise eyebrows? Can you imagine the outcry if a white guy voiced concern that a black guy could be appointed Mayor. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would parachute in within 24 hours with bull horns blaring and picket signs waving.

Lets play a little game and see if it sounds the same. Here’s the quote from above with a couple of small changes…

"Our concern is who would the governor appoint?" Cheatham said. "Here you have a predominantly Anglo-Saxon city. What if the governor appointed somebody black? … Would he appoint someone Mexican to be the mayor?"

I don’t understand how the first statement is ok, but the second one isn’t. Both statements are equally racist.

We all remember a couple of weeks ago when Obama’s thugs in the SEIU attacked Kenneth Gladney who was selling “Don’t Tread On Me” flags outside a health care town hall.

Since that time, Gladney hasn’t heard a peep from Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, or the NAACP. Gladney was called a “nigger” by the black SEIU gangsters just prior to his beat-down in the street.

The sad truth is that black conservatives aren’t considered black people by folks like Sharpton, Jackson, or the NAACP. They don’t defend “Uncle Tom’s” like Gladney. To radical black activists and race hustlers like Sharpton and Jackson, Gladney deserved to get his ass kicked for conspiring with “white devils” (i.e. conservatives).

Fortunately, they are other groups willing to stand up for black conservatives. Groups like Move-On-Up.org who represent black conservatives, republicans, and moderates.

Move-On-Up.org held a protest and press conference outside the NAACP in St. Louis. Gateway Pundit has all the details.

Here’s an interesting story that you’re guaranteed to never read about in the NY Times or on any mainstream news outlet. In fact, if liberals find out you’re even reading it you’ll likely be accused of racism.

It has to do with a major Voting Rights Act case in Noxubee Country, Mississippi. It marked a significant victory for Eric Holder’s Justice Department, but for the first time such a victory didn’t even warrant a press release.

The reason is because it was a case of white voter disenfranchisement at the hands of black voting officials. It was blatant, it was threatening, and it was reminiscent of the 1960’s era black disenfranchisement.

The Noxubee County case presents a deeply disturbing account of some of the most egregious racial discrimination the Justice Department has encountered in decades. In Noxubee, 80 percent of Democrats are black; 20 percent are white. (There are some Republicans as well, but the number is negligible.) The chairman of the Democratic party, Ike Brown, is black, and he, along with the Noxubee County Democratic Executive Committee, set about to effectively disenfranchise white voters.

Many at the Justice Department refused to even hear the case, because no one wanted to be associated with the concept of white disenfranchisement.
