Bush derangement syndrome was in full effect at the ‘Critics Choice Awards.’ Even after eight solid years of hatred, Bush bashing seems to really stand the test of time. I just wonder what all these f*cking morons are going to talk about in less than two weeks when Bush is gone. Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS) has become a full time industry unto itself.

These people really are sick. Only in America could a no talent hack like Sarah Silverman be critical of anyone and be taken seriously.

WSJ: The Treatment Of Bush Has Been A Disgrace

An Op-Ed in today’s Wall Street Journal touched on a topic that most people are either too stupid or too cowardly to talk about — the disgraceful treatment of president Bush.

Jeffrey Scott Shapiro deserves major kudos for bringing this issue up, because it’s a stain on our nation that may never be washed away.

The treatment President Bush has received from this country is nothing less than a disgrace. The attacks launched against him have been cruel and slanderous, proving to the world what little character and resolve we have. The president is not to blame for all these problems. He never lost faith in America or her people, and has tried his hardest to continue leading our nation during a very difficult time.

Our failure to stand by the one person who continued to stand by us has not gone unnoticed by our enemies. It has shown to the world how disloyal we can be when our president needed loyalty — a shameful display of arrogance and weakness that will haunt this nation long after Mr. Bush has left the White House.

Demonizing and slandering president Bush has become a sport. Most animals are treated better than we’ve treated the president. The way the media talks about Obama’s election win in the context of him “saving us” from the blood thirsty tyrant currently living in the White House — is an outrage.

As a final slap in the face to our president, Obama supporters jeered and chanted outside the White House last night:

The most remarkable scene unfolded after midnight in front of the White House. Under the watchful eye of the Secret Service and the Park Police, a predominantly young crowd waved huge American flags and sported signs that said “Yes we did!” Some climbed fences around the construction site where inaugural reviewing stands are going up.

A group of about a half-dozen Georgetown athletes said they jogged spontaneously from campus after hearing of Obama’s victory. “This might be the best day of my life,” said Danielle Bailey, 18, a freshman from Florida.

Kyle Poole, 48, a financier, said he brought a flag because he felt “honored and proud.”

“I was once a Republican,” he said. “Then George Bush came to the White House and now I’m thrilled to be here with the flag.”

As late as 2:30 a.m., revelers were streaming south on 16th Street by car and foot. In front of the darkened White House, chants of every stripe continued.

“Biden! Biden!”

On a chain-link fence erected by inaugural construction crews, someone hung the sign: “Welcome Home Malia and Sasha!”

President Bush has had to make some tough choices over the last eight years. Instead of always doing the popular thing, he chose to do the right thing — or at least what he felt was the right thing.

The far-left has brutally smeared and undermined his administration from the very first day he took office. But as Shapiro points out in his piece, the attacks haven’t just been from the left.

Many republicans have abandoned the president to the point they dare not speak his name. I thought it was disgraceful for the RNC to make our sitting president speak via video to his own party during the convention.

Every single American who’s enjoyed going to work each morning safely since 9/11 has president Bush to thank for that. He has done whatever it takes to keep us safe — even when it made him unpopular.

You don’t abandon a good man simply because his poll numbers are down. Nobody has to agree with all his decisions or even his particular brand of conservatism, but George W. Bush is still the president. He’s our president and he should be respected as such.

I don’t think Barack Obama is ready to be president. I fear that many Americans will regret taking a chance on such a inexperienced and far-left candidate.

Having said that, I’m proud of my country for putting the sins of the past behind us and electing a black man. I think all Americans should be extremely proud regardless of party affiliation.

I didn’t vote for Barack Obama, but he’s still my president and no matter what happens in the months to come — I will always respect that.

Breitbart Talks ‘Palin Derangement Syndrome’

Andrew Breitbart has an excellent column in the Washington Times this morning about liberal Democrats who suffer from the unfortunate condition known as ‘Palin Derangement Syndrome’ (PDS). The people most at risk for catching PDS are those who currently suffer from ‘Bush Derangement Syndrome’ (BDS).

Symptoms can range from excessive sweating, extreme Obama worship, hypocrisy, foul language, sexism, irrational hatred of facts, blindness, foaming at the mouth, fatigue, violent outbursts, and many more.

Anyone suffering from either PDS or BDS should seek immediate medical care.

San Francisco Group Hopes To Put President Bush’s Name On Sewer Plant

A San Francisco group calling itself the Presidential Memorial Commission is hoping to name a sewer plant after President Bush. The group claim that a sewer plant is the perfect monument to his presidency.

If the group has its way, the George W. Bush Sewer Plant will make its debut in January when Dubya officially leaves office, and some supporters say the occasion should be marked by a city-wide “synchronized flush.”

You just have to laugh at that because it’s hard to imagine people actually spending time trying to make that happen. How could a city that’s home to some of the brightest people in the country also be home to some of the dumbest people?

This is a prime example of the differences between liberals and conservatives. Liberals are often times hateful and mean spirited to those they disagree with. Bush critics don’t just want him to leave office they want to injure him in some way.

The whole thing is pretty pathetic.

Myth-Busting: Europe Hates Bush

The liberal media loves to get all weepy talking about how much President Bush has made Europeans hate America. Lefties love to opine that countries around the world will be celebrating when Bush leaves office. However, when you look at the geopolitical developments in recent years they tend to tell a very different story.

Rachel Marsden sums it up perfectly in her new column:

The foreign media may tell us that the public over there despises Dubya, yet they’re constantly electing folks who share his post 9/11 beliefs and policies. (Keep in mind that before 9/11, even Bush was known as a center-right pragmatic politician who had no interest in nation building or foreign intervention.)

Rachel is absolutely right about that. Every single European leader who was hostile and uncooperative with the Bush Administration has since been booted out of office and replaced with a pro-American leader.

Probably the best example of this is France. When Bush took office Jacques Chirac was President of France. If you wanted anti-American, then Chirac was your man. Chirac personally disliked President Bush and the feelings were allegedly mutual. The French President was not only a constant impediment at the UN, but an asshole to boot.

So if the French are so opposed to Bush and his so-called “cowboy diplomacy” then why did Chirac lose the election to ultra pro-American candidate Nicolas Sarkozy? France is now America’s staunchest ally in Europe now that Sarkozy is in office. Unlike Chirac, Sarkozy is also a reliable ally in the War On Terror.

Sarkozy is in fact so pro-American that he’s known as “Sarko The American” in France. He actually ran on a platform of improving relations with the United States. Now how could a man like that be elected by people who hate America? I guess Bush stole that election also.

Then there’s Germany. Gerhart Schröder was Chancellor of Germany when President Bush took office. Like Chirac, he went out of his way to be uncooperative with President Bush and U.S. foreign policy in general. He also had an unhealthy crush on Russian President Vladimir Putin, but that’s a story best saved for another time.

If the Germans wanted an antidote to President Bush as the media would have us believe, then why was he booted out of office and replaced by Angela Merkel?

Like Sarkozy, Merkel has done everything possible to repair relations with America. She has been a strong ally in the War On Terror and enjoyed a warm relationship with President Bush.

In Italy, Silvio Berlusconi was elected Prime Minister this year. He’s a long time ally of the U.S. and also enjoys warm relations with President Bush.

Britain also remains a close ally. When Tony Blair was replaced by Gordon Brown the media gleefully predicted a colder relationship with the Bush Administration. Unfortunately for liberals, that also hasn’t panned out. Brown announced this week that the U.K. will be sending even more troops to Afghanistan at President Bush’s request.

Are there people in Europe who hate America? Absolutely. In fact we’ve people in America who hate America, but they certainly don’t represent the majority.

The overwelming majority of Europeans do not harbor any ill feelings towards America or to President Bush, the media just wishes they did.

Rather than pushing our allies away, President Bush has in fact made our relationship with European countries stronger than ever. He will leave office with the most important countries in Europe once again on our side.

Obama Nomination Causes Celebration Around The World

One of the more ridiculous aspects of the Obama nomination has been the reaction of the International community.

Like most Americans, I think our willingness to nominate a black man for President is a very good thing. It shows that America is moving in the right direction, and truly represents a historic achievement.

People around the world have generally echoed those sentiments, but with a very irritating twist. News reports around the world describe the “relief” people are feeling over his nomination.

Obama’s being heralded as a “peace lover” who will rescue the world from the evil clutches of George Bush. A woman in Mexico City said, “Bush was for the elite. Obama is of the people.”

That’s just too cheesy of a line for the press to have made up.

A 39-year old man living in a Paris suburb said this:

“The candidate’s freshness can only do good, because the way things have been done before created a mess,” he said.

I’m not sure what mess he’s referring to, or how said mess had any impact on his life in the suburbs of Paris.

What really had people excited was the prospect that finally America might have a President willing to capitulate and appease countries like Iran.

Just the idea that America could have a President willing to sit down and talk with the thug from Iran has many around the world giddy as school girls.

The truth is that the International community is largely filled with idiots and cowards.

The world will be thanking George W. Bush years from now for having had the courage to confront threats rather than run from them.

If it weren’t for America’s military might, the world would likely be run by tyrants and dictators.

Video: Olbermann Unhinged, Accuses Bush Of ‘War Crimes’

One of the most despicable and unqualified people on cable news is MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann. His angry, and hate-filled diatribes against President Bush and Republicans make him a favorite of the far-left.

Twice as many people tune-in to watch Bill O’Reilly’s 3:00 AM repeat than watch Keith Olbermann in prime time if that’s any indication of what a joke this guy is.

Which is why Olbermann devotes a certain amount of time each week to attacking Bill O’Reilly. The problem is that everyone’s watching O’Reilly so there’s not many people around to listen to his ridiculous attacks.

Keith only spent a couple of minutes attacking O’Reilly last night, instead he decided to devote extra time to viciously attacking President Bush. He included all the usual far-left rhetoric about “war crimes” and even told Bush to “shut the hell up.”

Bush Basher Punches Disabled Teen

A man heckling First Lady Laura Bush and daughter Jenna outside the 92nd Street Y was arrested after he punched a wheelchair-bound girl whose parents has told him to shut up, authorities said yesterday. German Talis, 22, was shouting obscenities at the Bushes, who were leaving the building Tuesday, when he crossed paths with Wendy and John Lovetro and their daughter Maureen, 18, who has cerebral palsy.

They had been in the audience to hear the Bushes talk about their children’s book, “Read All About It.”

“He began yelling about Iraq and Iran at Jenna Bush. She was waving at the crowd. I told the guy, ‘What are you doing? Shut up. This is about a child and books,’ ” said John Lovetro. “He was unperturbed. I said, ‘Get out of here! You’re being a moron!’ ”

The next thing he knew, Talis was allegedly punching Maureen – a fan of the first lady since meeting her in 2004…

It looks like Bush Derangement Syndrome strikes again! You can always count on the vicious and ignorant Bush haters to f*ck up an otherwise pleasant event.

George McGovern Calls For Bush Impeachment

Former Senator and Democratic Presidential Nominee George McGovern wrote a rambling Op-Ed in Sunday’s Washington Post calling for a Bush/Cheney impeachment.

McGovern goes on a nonsensical tirade throughout the article, alleging a whole host of supposed crimes committed by the President and Vice President.

Bush and Cheney are clearly guilty of numerous impeachable offenses. They have repeatedly violated the Constitution. They have transgressed national and international law. They have lied to the American people time after time. Their conduct and their barbaric policies have reduced our beloved country to a historic low in the eyes of people around the world. These are truly “high crimes and misdemeanors,” to use the constitutional standard.

It looks like McGovern basically used far-left websites as his guidebook for the piece. He even repeats some of Rosie O’Donnell’s bogus civilian casualty numbers for Iraq.

The man is 85 years old and like Jimmy Carter, he may not be in control of all his faculties. Therefore, if someone close to McGovern will simply tell the old codger to pipe-down, we’ll just pretend this never happened and move on.
