On an awesomeness scale of 1-10 this ranks about a 14. Col. Allen West was holding a townhall in Florida to talk with his constituents when some jerk from CAIR showed up and started waving a Koran around. He wanted West to show him where in the Koran it says Muslims should attack America. West warned him not to “blow sunshine up my butt” and then proceeded to educate him about Islam. It’s one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen.

Making CAIR executives look like asses is the sworn duty of all Americans.

Radical Muslim group CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) was one of the first organizations to speak out against Rep. Pete King’s decision to hold hearings on radical Islam in America. They trotted out the usual attacks accusing him of “bigotry” and “Islamophobia.” King says he heard that many in the Muslim community are refusing to cooperate with law enforcement to root out radicals within their ranks.

CAIR says it’s because of Muslim cooperation that so many terrorist plots have been foiled.

…a spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations said he fears King’s hearings will become an “anti-Muslim witch hunt.” Ibrahim Hooper said several recent terrorist plots have been foiled because members of the Muslim community did cooperate with law enforcement.

Kudos to King for holding hearings. This crap needs to be out in the open. CAIR is a Muslim front group and a threat to our national security. Back in 2008, CAIR visited the middle school in my town and forced the kids (including my little sister) to attend a propaganda presentation about Islam. Parents were not told ahead of time. I wrote about it here and emailed Michelle Malkin. Thanks to her a national spotlight was put on the school and the principal was fired.

Things got ugly today on Fox Business. Dem. strategist Bob Beckel went nuclear on our friend Pamela Gellar. Bob apparently can’t handle hearing the truth about Islam. It makes him crazy. It causes him to lash out. Unfortunately for him, he brought a knife to a gun fight. Pam takes on Islamic radicals every single day so a doughy looking Democrat is nothing.

If only she would have had time to tear into that little thug from CAIR.

If you thought you’d heard the last of the notorious “Flying Imams” you were just plain wrong. It seems there trial is now in the discovery phase and what the Imams are asking for might make your heart skip a beat.

I don’t have the strength to rehash the “Flying Imams” case point by point so you’ll just have to read about it. Suffice it to say that a group of disgruntled Imams represented by the New York Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is trouble with a capital T. As we’ve reported numerous times, the Justice Department has said repeatedly that CAIR is affiliated with Hamas.

So imagine the shock when attorney and CAIR President asked the court for this:

Omar Mohammedi, attorney for the imams, and President of the Board of Directors for the New York Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, went first. His motion was for the judge, Arthur Boylan, to compel US Airways to divulge its training manuals, and information on its security procedures, so that they could show that the security procedures were not followed down to the last jot and tittle when the imams were removed from US Airways Flight 300 on November 20, 2006.

That ladies and gentlemen is chutzpah in its purest form. Only in America could a group of Imams led by a Hamas linked organization demand the security and training manuals for a U.S. airline and do so with a straight face.

We reported last Friday about the school principle in Texas that unilaterally allowed 2 reps. from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to teach 875 seventh-and eighth-grade students about Islam.

Not only were parents never notified, but it’s a matter of public record that CAIR is a terrorist linked organization.

I’m happy to report this morning that the Friendswood School District has issued a statement saying that principle Robin Lowe has been removed from her post and “reassigned.”

The school was flooded with calls by outraged citizens within the community and from around the country. A big thanks goes out to everyone who called, e-mailed, or otherwise, expressed your displeasure with principle Lowe’s conduct.

Public school students at Friendswood Junior High in the Houston area have been roped into Islamic training by representatives from the Council on American-Islamic Relations during class time…

Parents were never notified and only found out from their kids after the fact. The principal unilaterally decided that children in Friendswood need to learn about Islam from an organization that the FBI named as co-conspirators in a recent terrorism trial.

The parent reported the presentation was 30 to 40 minutes long and handled by two Muslim women from CAIR’s Houston office. CAIR, as WND has reported, is spinoff of the defunct Islamic Association for Palestine, launched by Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzook and former university professor Sami al-Arian, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to provide services to Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Kids were forced to learn the “five pillars of Islam”, how to pray 5 times a day, and of course the most important lesson of all, “There is one God, his name is Allah”.

It is beyond belief that Principal Robin Lowe, would allow two thugs from CAIR on school grounds to brainwash kids about Islam.

I find this entire episode particularly offensive since it took place in my town, only a few blocks from my home. I’m told that parents are organizing as we speak to hold protests, and I hope we can all come together to see this broad fired.

The Council On American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) are a bunch of lying, terror supporting, Islamic thugs.

CAIR is currently attempting to stop the Air Force Academy from having a panel of former Islamic terrorists give a presentation to students about “dismantling terrorism.” They don’t want the former terrorists to spread “hate-filled rhetoric” about Islam.

CAIR has also called the FBI and asked that an investigation be opened into popular blog Little Green Footballs. The Hot Joints are big fans of LGF and of the Air Force Academy, so we thought we would remind everyone exactly who CAIR is.

Here’s what CAIR says about themselves:

Here’s what the U.S. government says about CAIR:

For the third time federal prosecutors have called out CAIR as part of a covert Muslim Brotherhood effort in the United States. First, CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Hamas-support trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development.

CAIR was listed among “entities who are and/or were members of the US Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee.” Then, when the group petitioned to remove its name from that list, prosecutors said such relief “will not prevent its conspiratorial involvement with HLF, and others affiliated with Hamas, from becoming a matter of public record.”

Now, in a federal court filing from December, federal prosecutors have described CAIR as “having conspired with other affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists.” The government also stated that “proof that the conspirators used deception to conceal from the American public their connections to terrorists was introduced” in the Dallas Holy Land Foundation trial last year and the Chicago trial of the Hamas men in 2006.

CAIR likes to pretend they’re a moderate organization that just wants peace, but anytime you feel yourself being sucked in by that lie just refer back to this post.

I found this story via Little Green Footballs. Investor’s Business Daily has written a great editorial that looks at how much CAIR (the NAACP for Muslims) is hyping hate crimes and discrimination against Muslims.

Among other things the article highlights some very interesting stats from a new FBI study. CAIR is constantly throwing a fit about hate crimes against Muslims in the USA, but the evidence just doesn’t show it.

In 2006, a whopping 66% of religiously motivated attacks were on Jews, while just 11% targeted Muslims, even though the Jewish and Muslim populations are similar in size. Catholics and Protestants, who together account for 9% of victims, are subject to almost as much abuse as Muslims in this country.

Last year’s anti-Islamic hate crimes totaled 156. While just one hate crime is one too many, that’s a 68% drop from 2001.

The FBI report gives lie to CAIR’s alarmist narrative of “Islamophobic” lynch mobs marching on mosques across America. In reality, Americans have been remarkably, and admirably, tolerant and respectful of Muslims and their institutions since 9/11.

By crying wolf, CAIR shows it cares more about furthering its own political agenda than protecting ordinary Muslims. When real abuses occur, few Americans may pay attention. So CAIR is actually doing the Muslim community it claims to represent a disservice by hyping hate crimes.

While the figures that CAIR like release may be false, but the organization’s continued support for terrorist groups is very real. I can’t believe Bush didn’t shut these people down a long time ago. The worst thing anyone can do is bow down to these Islamic thugs. The ACLU is bad enough, we don’t an Islamic version.

If the Council on American-Islamic Relations really cared about “American-Islamic Relations” it would focus it’s attention stopping Islamic militants from murdering Americans all over the world.

Stop killing us and our “relations” will just fine.
