Record: Taylor Swift Snags Longest Billboard Charting Album Of The Century
Here’s some news that’s sure to give Kanye West renewed heartburn:
At just 19 years old, country music superstar Taylor Swift continues to shatter records, this time on the Billboard albums chart. This week her debut album, "Taylor Swift," becomes the longest charting album of the century.
Her self-titled debut spends 157 weeks on the chart this week, taking the title for the album spending the most number of weeks inside Billboard’s Top 200 Albums.
Congratulations to Taylor for kicking so much musical ass — and for being a class act while doing so.

Obama Asking Celebrities For Help Promoting ObamaCare

President Obama is turning to a handful of Hollywood stars to judge a contest that asks grassroots supporters to create a television commercial promoting health care reform.
Musician Will.I.Am, actor John Cho, actress Rosario Dawson, actor Dulé Hill, "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane, actor Brandon Routh, actress Kate Walsh and actress Olivia Wilde will join Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine, DNC Executive Director Jen O’Malley Dillon, Rep. Patrick Murphy of Pennsylvania, Obama campaign manager David Plouffe and volunteers in helping to pick the 30-second commercial that will air nationally, a DNC official tells CNN.
The contest is being run by Obama’s political arm – Organizing for America – which is housed at DNC headquarters in Washington, DC. It is the latest effort by the president’s political team to try and enlist the grassroots to help pressure Congress to pass health care reform this year.
I’ve been vehemently opposed to a government takeover of health care from the beginning. However, since Will.I.Am, John Cho, Rosario Dawson, Dule Hill, Seth MacFarlane, Brandon Routh, Kate Walsh, and Olivia Wilde are in favor of it — I may have to rethink my position.
Nope, after thinking about it again — I’m still against it. In fact, since all those Hollywood assholes do support it, that’s all the more reason for me not to.

Kanye West Ruins Taylor Swift’s Moment At The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards
Kanye West is an asshole — pure and simple. Taylor Swift won “Best Female Video” — her first VMA win ever, only to have her moment stolen away by arrogant asshole Kanye West. West burst onto the stage in the middle of her acceptance speech to say he was happy for Taylor, but Beyonce had the best video and should have won (I’m paraphrasing).
By the time West’s rant was over Taylor’s speech time was over and she had to just walk off the stage. To the audience’s credit however, they didn’t let Kanye get away with it. He was loudly booed for the rest of the night anytime his name was mentioned and he was thrown out of the show.
Kanye West is a world class dick.
It’s also worth mentioning that Beyonce was a total class act. She won an award later in the show and invited Taylor Swift on-stage to have the moment Kanye rudely stole from her. Beyonce recalled being 17 and winning her first VMA and how much it had meant to her.
Kanye issued a phony apology today via his blog. He’s sorry for what he did, but not sorry for what he said.
Hey Kanye, you’re still a huge dick.

Whitney Houston Blows Comeback Performance, Blames Oprah
Whitney Houston cut short her performance on “Good Morning America” after screeching and cracking through three songs. She apologized to the audience and blamed it on Oprah. She said did too much talking and it caused her to lose her voice.
Whitney can blame Oprah for whatever she wants, but Whitney is a crack head and that’s why she can’t sing anymore.
Smoking crack destroys your vocal cords. Even if she doesn’t smoke crack anymore the damage is done. Oprah or no Oprah — Whitney’s pipes are finished.

Alec Baldwin Considering A Run For Congress – What Could Go Wrong?
According to CNN, radical leftist actor Alec Baldwin is considering a run for Congress.
Baldwin, who currently stars in the NBC comedy "30 Rock," told Playboy magazine that he is seriously considering running for Congress. But he acknowledged his opponents would have plenty of fodder to use against him.
"I’ll put it this way," he told the magazine. "The desire is there; that’s one component. The other component is opportunity."
A native New Yorker, Baldwin said he has been approached by an unnamed Democratic law firm who wanted him to run for governor of Ohio, and he has also considered moving to New Jersey or Connecticut to run for office. "I’d love to run against Joe Lieberman," Baldwin said of the Independent Democratic senator who is no favorite of the liberal wing of the Democratic Party. But Baldwin dismissed the idea, saying "It’s all fantasy."
I don’t dismiss this at all. Who in the hell would have imagined that Al Franken could ever be elected to the Senate. If an ass hat like Franken can get elected, it’s no stretch to imagine the Commie Pinkos in Manhattan electing Baldwin.
He’s certainly right about the “fodder” his opponents have to use against him. My personal favorite is when he called his 11-year old daughter a “thoughtless little pig” on her voicemail.
