Mitt Romney has retaken the top position in the 2012 GOP presidential campaign after falling behind Gov. Rick Perry. Jan Crawford reports on how the former governor now has the support of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

Left-wing MSNBC commentator Lawrence O’Donnell (and his staff) gave NJ Gov. Chris Christie a standing ovation for defending a recent appointment of a Muslim judge.

NJ Gov. Chris Christie was fuming at a press conference today when he was asked to defend his recent appointment of a Muslim judge. Christie didn’t hold back, calling concerns about creeping Sharia law total “crap.” He called criticism of Sohail Mohammed a “disgrace.”

While I’m certainly wary of appointing Muslims to positions where they can influence the law, I don’t know anything about this Sohail guy. According to Christie he’s a fine lawyer. When I hear someone described as good at “building bridges” between (fill in the blank) and the “Muslim community” I get concerned. We wouldn’t need to “build bridges” if Muslims would stop trying to blow shit up and wage Jihad. Having said that, If Christie has worked closely with the man and vouches for him than I can live with that.

Some lady starts ripping Chris Christie about cutting funding for public schools while sending his own kids to private school.

New Chris Christie porn!!!! Christie is on another truth telling tour around New Jersey. His mission is noble and his rhetoric is fierce. A police officer stood up to complain about his health care benefits being cut and not getting a raise this year. Suffice it to say, Christie’s response was AWESOME.

While I have little sympathy for teachers and most public sector union folks, I can sympathize with this cop. Like Christie, I don’t blame him for being bitter and angry. He has every right to be. The gangsters who run his union and the gangster politicians in NJ promised that cop certain benefits. He planned his life around the assumption that those benefits would come through and they’re not.

I will never understand the mentality of unions. They would rather run a business out of business than make any concessions on benefits. They would rather be unemployed than employed with a few less perks. It’s bizarre.
