Al Gore Calling For ‘Civil Disobediance’ To Stop New Coal Plants
Al Gore is calling on young people to engage in ‘civil disobediance’ to stop the construction of new coal plants in the U.S. that lack the ability to store carbon.
“If you’re a young person looking at the future of this planet and looking at what is being done right now, and not done, I believe we have reached the stage where it is time for civil disobedience to prevent the construction of new coal plants that do not have carbon capture and sequestration,” Gore told the Clinton Global Initiative gathering to loud applause.
“I believe for a carbon company to spend money convincing the stock-buying public that the risk from the global climate crisis is not that great represents a form of stock fraud because they are misrepresenting a material fact,” he said. “I hope these state attorney generals around the country will take some action on that.”
The only material fact I’m aware of is that Al Gore is the biggest eco-hypocrite on the planet who doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about.
Americans are hurting because of the outrageous fuel prices and this clown wants to prevent the construction of new coal plants. The U.S. is literally the Saudi Arabia of coal. It’s our most abundent natural resource and it should be exploited to the fullest extent possible.
I think what we need is some civil disobediance to stop Al Gore from flying around in his private jet. He bitches about the environment and tells people to ride their bike while he fills the sky with carbon from his jet.
Al Gore is a joke to the vast majority of America. The only people who buy what he’s selling are the Hollywood elites and the dumb Europeans.

Psychiatrists Uncover First Case Of “Climate Change Delusion”
Psychiatrists in Australia have uncovered what they’re referring to as a “previously unreported phenomenon” called “climate change delusion.”
“A 17-year-old man was referred to the inpatient psychiatric unit at Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne with an eight-month history of depressed mood . . . He also . . . had visions of apocalyptic events.”
“The patient had also developed the belief that, due to climate change, his own water consumption could lead within days to the deaths of millions of people through exhaustion of water supplies.”
That sounds an awful lot like something Al Gore may be experiencing. His rhetoric on global warming gets more outrageous and more extreme by the month.
Flat Screen TV’s Are Latest Global Warming Culprit
If it’s something you like to do or something you like to own, chances are that liberals are going to blame it on global warming. Such is the case with flat screen TV’s, which have become the latest victims in an increasingly hysterical global warming agenda.
Almost half of the televisions sold around the globe so far this year have been plasma or LCD TVs.
But this boom could be coming at a huge environmental cost.
The gas, widely used in the manufacture of flat screen TVs, is estimated to be 17,000 times as powerful as carbon dioxide.
Ironically, NF3 is not covered by the Kyoto protocol as it was only produced in tiny amounts when the treaty was signed in 1997.
Levels of this gas in the atmosphere have not been measured, but scientists say it is a concern and are calling for it to be included in any future emissions cutting agreement.
Professor Michael Prather from the University of California has highlighted the issue in an article for the magazine New Scientist.
He has told ABC’s The World Today program that output of the gas needs to be measured.
“One of my titles for this paper was Going Below Kyoto’s Radar. It’s the kind of gas that’s made in huge amounts,” he said.
“Not only is it not in the Kyoto Treaty but you don’t even have to report it. That’s the part that worries me.”
I think the fact that Professor Prather is “worried” about gas inside a plasma TV says more about him than it does the TV. Scientists should measure the gas coming out of all the global warming alarmists and see what damage it might be doing to the environment.
Global Warming Scientist: Put Oil Firm Chiefs On Trial!
Militant global warming scientist, James Hansen, wants to put oil company executives on trial for allegedly “spreading disinformation” about global warming.
James Hansen, one of the world’s leading climate scientists, will today call for the chief executives of large fossil fuel companies to be put on trial for high crimes against humanity and nature, accusing them of actively spreading doubt about global warming in the same way that tobacco companies blurred the links between smoking and cancer.
Hansen says he’s 99% positive that the greenhouse gas effect is real and drastic measures must be taken to save the planet. The kind of fear mongering that has been allowed to go on within the scientific community over global warming is despicable. Hansen is only one scientist with one opinion, so for him to suggest that those who don’t agree with him should be put in jail is outrageous.
Contrary to what Al Gore, James Hansen, and others say, the global warming debate is in fact just warming-up. Thousands of scientists think Al Gore is nuts, but are afraid to speak up out of fear of losing their jobs. It’s a sad state of affairs, when the scientific community now eats its own for disagreeing with the theory of a few.
So much of Al Gore’s ridiculous movie has already been discredited that it’s amazing anyone takes him seriously anymore.
Al Gore’s Personal Power Consumption Up 10%
Al Gore is the world’s biggest global warming alarmist and hypocrite. In the year since Gore took steps to make his mammoth mansion “green” his personal power consumption has risen by 10%.
In the past year, Gore’s home burned through 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month.
The fact of the matter is that Al Gore is a fraud. The global warming hysteria he generates is based on junk science. Gore uses fear tactics and silly movies to perpetuate the global warming myth because it’s such a cash cow for him. Since leaving the White House, Gore has made an estimated $100 million dollars through speaking fees and investments related to global warming.
He started a company which conveniently sells “carbon offsets” to his rich Hollywood friends and any average citizens who’re stupid enough to buy them.
Gore lectures the world about climate change and proposes that Americans start walking or riding bicycles to work, while he continues to fly around the country on his private jet.
“Global warming” will go down in history as one of the biggest scams of all time.

Al Gore: Climate Change Significantly Worse Than Feared
Al Gore is once again sounding the alarm bells about global warming. Gore told the World Economic Forum in Davos that climate change is occurring at an even faster rate than predicted.
Recent evidence shows “the climate crisis is significantly worse and unfolding more rapidly than those on the pessimistic side of the IPCC projections had warned us,” climate campaigner and former US vice-president Gore said.
What I find interesting is that Al Gore can sound the alarm about global warming anytime he wants, and make increasingly dire predictions about the fate of the world, and liberals say nothing.
However, if President Bush were to give a speech about the threat from Iran or the increasing threat of radical Islam, the left would dismiss him as nothing more than a “fear monger.”
Al Gore is the Pat Robertson of science. His global warming predictions get more extreme with every passing month and liberals hang on his every word.

French Scientist Calls Gore A “Crook” And His Followers “Religous Zealots”
The most outspoken global warming skeptic in France is Claude Allegre, a former education minister and a physicist by profession. His new book, “Ma Verite Sur la Planete” (“My Truth About the Planet”), doesn’t hold back.
He calls Gore a “crook” presiding over an eco-business that pumps out cash. As for Gore’s French followers, the author likens them to religious zealots who, far from saving humanity, are endangering it. Driven by a Judeo-Christian guilt complex, he says, French greens paint worst-case scenarios and attribute little-understood cycles to human misbehavior.
Allegre rightly points out that while the icecap of the North Pole is shrinking, the one covering Antarctica — or 92 percent of the Earth’s ice — is not, he says. Nor have Scandinavian glaciers receded, he says. To play down these differences by basing forecasts on a global average makes absolutely no sense.
Report: Over 400 Prominent Scientists Disputed Man-Made Global Warming Claims in 2007
Al Gore has tried very hard to prevent any chinks in his global warming armor from appearing, but more and more scientists are speaking out against him.
Liberals love to accuse the Bush Administration of “suppressing” the truth about global warming, and while in some instances that may be true, it is Gore who refuses to listen to anyone with a differing opinion. Scientists who don’t swallow the accepted doomsday version of global warming wholesale are shut out of conferences, smeared, and marginalized.
With every passing day new information about global warming is discovered that directly contradicts Gore’s propaganda film, An Inconvenient Truth, which is an ironic title in light of new scientific data.
Over 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries recently voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called “consensus” on man-made global warming. These scientists, many of whom are current and former participants in the UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), criticized the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore.
The new report issued by the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee’s office of the GOP Ranking Member details the views of the scientists, the overwhelming majority of whom spoke out in 2007.
This blockbuster Senate report lists the scientists by name, country of residence, and academic/institutional affiliation. It also features their own words, biographies, and weblinks to their peer reviewed studies and original source materials as gathered from public statements, various news outlets, and websites in 2007. This new “consensus busters” report is poised to redefine the debate.
Predictably, Al Gore’s spokesman dismissed many of the scientists in the report as agents for big oil companies with an agenda. Anyone who doesn’t believe that man is 100% responsible for global warming and that we’re all gonna die either an idiot, or an agent for big oil with an agenda.

The Crying Dutchman: Yvo de Boer Bursts Into Tears At Climate Change Conference
This global warming hysteria is really over the top at this point. According to the Daily Mail, after 12 days of trying to reach a worldwide agreement on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, it was suddenly all too much for Yvo de Boer.
As the 200-nation Bali conference wrangled over a minor procedural matter, the Dutch diplomat in charge of the talks burst into tears and had to be led away by colleagues. All this global warming was just too much for the Dutchman to bare.
Moments earlier, Mr de Boer had been warning delegates that failure to reach an agreement on global warming could “plunge the world into conflict”.
Officials from China, which feels Western countries should do more to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, accused UN negotiators of ignoring conference protocol.
Mr de Boer, distinctively dressed in a floral shirt, stepped up to the microphone to defend his staff - only to find that the words would no longer come.
“Three colleagues - one of them a woman - formed a protective group around him and escorted him out of the hall. It was all very dramatic.”
More people would probably attend global warming conferences if they were promised a comedy show like that.
All this dramatic talk about global warming as if the world is gonna come to a fiery end tomorrow if we don’t listen to Al Gore and the climate nuts, is not helping the cause.
That kind of over the top rhetoric only serves to turn people off and even illicit a chuckle or two as in my case.

Skeptical Scientists Converge on Global Warming Conference
An international team of scientists skeptical of man-made climate fears promoted by the UN and former Vice President Al Gore, descended on Bali this week to urge the world to “have the courage to do nothing” in response to UN demands.
Lord Christopher Monckton, a UK climate researcher, had a clear message for UN climate conference participants on Monday that would make Al Gore’s head explode.
“Climate change is a non problem. The right answer to a non problem is to have the courage to do nothing,” Monckton told participants.
“The UN conference is a complete waste of our time and your money and we should no longer pay the slightest attention to the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change,)” Monckton added.
He went on to accuse the UN of trying to shut out scientists with an opposing viewpoint.
“UN organizers refused my credentials and appeared desperate that I should not come to this conference. They have also made several attempts to interfere with our public meetings,” Monckton explained.
“It is a circus here,” agreed Australian scientist Dr. David Evans. Evans is making scientific presentations to delegates and journalists at the conference revealing the latest peer-reviewed studies that refute the UN’s climate claims.
“This is the most lavish conference I have ever been to, but I am only a scientist and I actually only go to the science conferences,” Evans said, noting the luxury of the tropical resort.
Evans is a mathematician who did carbon accounting for the Australian government. His skepticism of global warming came about after he read the new data that you will never hear Al Gore talk about.
“We now have quite a lot of evidence that carbon emissions definitely don’t cause global warming. We have the missing [human] signature [in the atmosphere], we have the IPCC models being wrong and we have the lack of a temperature going up the last 5 years,” Evans said in an interview with the Inhofe EPW Press Blog. Evans authored a November 28 2007 paper “Carbon Emissions Don’t Cause Global Warming.”
“Most of the people here have jobs that are very well paid and they depend on the idea that carbon emissions cause global warming. They are not going to be very receptive to the idea that well actually the science has gone off in a different direction,” Evans explained.
